Lamar Jackson. He looks like what Lamar Jackson would look like if he was a WRPR0v3 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 10, 2021 9:24 pmI take back my Allen/MT comps, the athleticism he showed today was next level. Not sure there is a direct comparison, he is a very unique talent.dlf_mikeh wrote: ↑Wed Oct 06, 2021 9:51 amI see what you see. He's like a mixture between Keenan Allen and Dante Hall for me. If his route running improves, this kid could be quite amazing in time. Watching him with the ball in his hands is absolutely stunning.PR0v3 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 06, 2021 8:20 am Not sure why I’m seeing Tyreek comps, he looks much more similar to a Michael Thomas/Keenan Allen type to me. It’s fairly evident he has the potential to be a target hog in the short/intermediate as it’s near impossible to keep up with his first step, and I don’t see great long speed with him either. I don’t see the “gadget guy” in him, I see a guy who is going to command a heavy volume of level 1/2 targets and be a PPR machine. He’s going to make a killing on slant routes and YAC, he’s gaining heaps separation before he’s even five yards downfield.

Re: Kadarius Toney Thread
He does. He runs with the same elite agility. His QB coach even said he'd be just like Lamar if he never switched positions. He's Lamar meets Percy Harvin
Re: Kadarius Toney Thread
I'm laughing because you're right. Toney is not Tyreek. Not close. And obviously not the route technician others mentioned. But he's so agile it's insane, especially in the short area and 1on1 like Lamar

Looks like he was playing hurt, too. May miss a bit of time, but not a major injury.

He looked very very good on Sunday. I was wrong about him

As a Giants fan who puts a great deal of stock into Analytics, I'm happy to cop a big fat L on this one too.GregOfTheDead wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 7:53 pm He looked very very good on Sunday. I was wrong about him
Frankly, I'm shocked that Gettleman did two things right in the first round. Heaven knows, this will probably be what saves him now
Re: Kadarius Toney Thread
Might be the strangest breakout I've ever seen. Since it's the Giants I'd sell sell sell. This team is snake bit - I trust no one long term and would love to trade my Giants away.

Keep in mind that even the best gamblers are only right about 55% of the time, slightly better than the average rube. We're all going to have plenty of misses, and Lady Luck plays a huge part in that.mild wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 9:14 pmAs a Giants fan who puts a great deal of stock into Analytics, I'm happy to cop a big fat L on this one too.GregOfTheDead wrote: ↑Tue Oct 12, 2021 7:53 pm He looked very very good on Sunday. Some interesting info.
He was targeted on 57% of his routes last week (13/23). Imagine if he played a full complement of snaps?

I’m actually mostly just jealous, I sold my one share before the season for Jonnu Smith in a TE premium. Felt good at the time figured There was no way Jason Garret would be able to unlock Toney. Still skeptical he stays on the field TBH

Beckham went for 3+ firsts at one point. Look at his value now.PR0v3 wrote: ↑Mon Oct 11, 2021 11:00 amThere’s no way I’d sell a Beckham carbon copy.Space Cowboy wrote: ↑Mon Oct 11, 2021 10:41 am They dumped headcase Beckham only to find a carbon copy. Have fun, I'd sell.

Beckham won people leagues for many years. You can’t just trade away every player away for picks the moment their value spikes and expect to actually win.Space Cowboy wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 10:46 amBeckham went for 3+ firsts at one point. Well that's correct, but there's a balance. Its a matter of whether or not you think they'll retain their value.PR0v3 wrote: ↑Wed Oct 13, 2021 10:49 amBeckham won people leagues for many years. Look at his value now.
if you drafted Dhop when he came into the league, and sold him at what you thought his "peak" would be, you'd be making a mistake because he retained his value throughout his entire career (outside of dynasty age/value regression)
But if you sold OBJ when his value peaked, you'd be ecstatic right now. Its a great strategy to stay competitive or if your rebuilding. If you moved a guy like Toney who was probably a 2nd round pick in a lot of drafts, for a first + at some point this season because you don't think you'll retain his value, your gonna be pumped. Now of course you need to hit on the pick in this next draft, but if you do thats a really good move to stay competitive or rebuild.
For example I don't plan on moving Chase because it think he'll retain his value. If I drafted Aiyuk last season, or Viska, I probably would have cashed out by now because I was never a believer in them to start and they exceeded my expectations last year
