Could leave him in your SF spot and wouldn't make much difference.

I didn't like either of them coming in. I was actually lower than most on the entire class. I didn't, and still don't think Lawrence will be an elite NFL QB, either. Mac looks solid, in a good situation. Still early, but I haven't seen much from Wilson or Fields to get excited about.

Rightfully so. All but Mac were put into a situation to fail imo. It's how they bounce back that'll be how their careers go.

Trevor has never seen loses like this before, but he also knows there's life beyond this season. It's a learning experience and he's going through all the progressions better than anyone could've expected. It's not translating to eye-popping stat numbers, but watching him evolve you can easily see at top 10 talent ala Luck in a shot time.

Fields has the attitude and mindset to be a starter, but he needs to get out of Nagy's terrible offense. Then we'll be able to see if he can actually scan through more than one route read before imploding.

Wilson - Jets.

Trey should sit for the first half of the season, but would hugely benefit from the whole season on the pine. Probably won't happen with Jimmy G on such a hot seat though and we'll have our 4th "fail" for the year.

I never saw it from Fields myself. I don't think he'll ever be a top tier QB, regardless of coach, but agreed on Nagy, and that's almost certainly going to happen either in season or next off season. The real question is, will Pace go, too?

Maybe I just want to see Fields work. Top tier QB expectation might be pushing it, but I think he's serviceable and more importantly teachable. He has an odd chip on his shoulder, but yes Pace needs to go too. A complete gut and allow Fields more freedom than that he currently has.

Looks like Jeff Wilson is set to return to practice which gives him 3 weeks to make the active roster. I've been wondering how he mixes in with Mitchell and company.

Tua Tagovailoa is out again. This time he has two excuses, a wittle finger and his ribs are still hurting.

I'm trying to keep the faith with Tua, but his revolving door of missed games overshadows the fact he plays at a low-end QB1 level .... when he actually plays.

And Odell quickly provided an alibi as to his whereabouts at the time!
