Besides that, we have Jeff Wilson likely to start the season on the PUP list. Relatively minor stuff for now, but with OTAs starting and training camp around the corner, expect the unforeseeable season-ending injuries to keep popping up, as per usual.

Not only are the saints not looking good, I'm fairly concerned about MT at this point. Definitely not looking to acquire him (unless real cheap) and certainly looking to move him if I still have him.

You're setting yourself up for disappointment again my friend. Not that I fancy any of the Saints WR at this point, but I think Marquez Callaway will be the primary beneficiary of any kind of lingering injury bug with Thomas.

I'm a little surprised this isn't getting a lot more discussion on the forums. Cam Akers is everywhere (understandable, given his injury could be career threatening) but people are pretty quiet about Thomas.

This shouldn't necessarily affect him long-term, but it seems like a situation where he could have had the surgery earlier in the offseason but instead opted for rest. That obviously didn't fix the issue, so now a June surgery could really put a damper on his 2021 production. Even if he comes back in Week 6, will he be fully recovered? How long will it take him to shake off the rust? For teams counting on him as their WR1, this has to be a pretty concerning situation.

Those teams may find themselves out of the playoff hunt if they lack the depth to absorb the weeks Thomas will be out, or at less than 100%.

I feel bad for MT and I hope he has a full recovery, but I'm so glad I made the decision to trade him at the end of the 2020 season. This could be the next step in an unkind rapid decline.

He may never be the same again. 2021 is already shot. He'll miss 6-8 weeks and that ankle will never be as stable as it was pre-injury. Tearing the inner ankle ligament is bad news.

This isn't going to help their line protect Jones, or open holes for Barkley.

Managed to sell MT in every league I had him. One about 2 weeks ago pre injury and got top dollar. One post injury and still managed to get some good pieces.
