I know not fantasy relevant, but Jake Butt retired today. A shame a lot of potential derailed by injury after injury.

Cowboys seem to have injuries to a few key players, Dak, Cooper and even Galllup are a bit banged up. Anything to see here?

Jacob Harris (rookie TE LAR) out a couple weeks. He is converting from wr to TE. I think this really dings his likelihood of having a productive rookie campaign and boosts the value of both cook and parnham.

I like this for cook personally, seems like a really cheap option that could put up some TE1 weeks.

Seems like Schefter is being a drama queen for clicks? Colts said they though Wentz injury was minor, but would do further tests to make sure. Now Schefter taking the same info and saying Wentz is out indefinitely, while they perform further tests. Which is technically true, but he's kind of stoking the flames, I think.

Sure hope that's the case. If he's out for an extended period, or for the season that team is in trouble. Trying to lure River's out of retirement?! He was so obviously washed last season I couldn't bear to watch him throw another pass.

It worked. Rappaport is being much more professional. Saying the Colts are doing tests to get a firm diagnosis before proceeding, which is what any team would do with their QB. Regardless of the outcome, it just shows how 1 word carefully placed can start a wildfire in media and the general public. Now everybody is acting like the season is over, because of that one word. Schefter is smart, he's purposely stoking the flames for hits, and it's working.
