Obviously a lot of rumblings about Julio leaving for a couple months, but after today's news it seems all but guaranteed he's gone.

Any thoughts on best landing places (for fantasy) or is he just pretty much done with a team switch at this age? Ravens/Niners/Pats/Chargers seem like betting favorites.

Also who are the players to pick up on the Falcons - Matt Ryan will presumably still throw for 9827349724 yards and I can't imagine Ridley and a rookie TE soak them all up. Gage is probably owned and the rest of the WR depth chart there looks barren. Frank Darby was a 6th rounder but I know nothing about him.

The niners could take him on by restructuring some contracts (i.e. Armstead) or getting the falcons to keep a few Ms of salary on their books. The bigger issue for them is whether they're willing to have no 2nds on top of having no 1sts in the next couple years. But shanahan said something along the lines of “when theres a Julio on the market, you pay whatever you have to to get him” last week so its definitely possible

McAfee said he texted him a pic and Ballard didn't respond. Did I miss something else? That just sounds like a GM just not tipping his hand to an insider/reporter

I don't need to see a text from Ballard to know they wont spend money on a receiver. Its just wishful thinking from a Colts fan who still feels like they are contenders.

Going to be hard to trade with his contract. Julio always expects to be the highest paid WR in the land. Falcons will be lucky to get a 2nd as their backs are against the wall on contracts.
