Re: The Official 2021 Plant Your Flag thread
The AFC North will send 3 teams into the playoffs, and all will have +.500 records (Bengals are odd man out but still finish 9-8)
WFT wins NFC east again on the back of another good draft, but does so with an actual winning record this year
Jamarr Chase leads Cincy in receiving but...
Najee Harris finishes OROTY
Zack Wilson leads scoring among rookie QBs
Rhamondre Stevenson breaks the NE time share tendencies and is getting the majority of the touches by the last 1/3rd of the season, finding himself rostered in almost all leagues
At most, only half of the top 12 RBs of 2020 remain in the top. (my top 12 was Kamara, Cook, Henry, Montgomery, Jones, Taylor, Robinson, Jacobs, Elliot, Hunt, Davis, Chubb)
Pitts finishes as a top 6 TE and...
Regardless of how he finishes, NO ONE IS SELLING AT A DISCOUNT in the offseason (outside of one-off league Taco's)
Matt Stafford has his best fantasy season since 2011 and finishes as a top 7 QB.
Daniel Jones flops (or gets injured) and the Giants in general are a bust for all fantasy positions outside Saquon (who still kind of busts finishing as a low end RB1)
The Texans become the third team in history to go winless across the season, first team to go 0-17. They remain the only team to go 0-17 for at least a decade. (RemindMe! ten years)

Re: The Official 2021 Plant Your Flag thread
Lol, sorry. And I should have said that's based on the assumption Watson doesn't play (which I really think will be the case). I actually thought they had a relatively decent draft despite not picking till the 3rd round. I liked the picks of Mills, Nico, and Brevin Jordan. I just don't think any of them will have an impact next year.burntfire wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 1:16 pmHow dare you.dustyroads wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 12:21 pm

Bright side is definitely 1.01 next year though!

Etienne RB6 overall (robinson? give up on him)
Swift Rb1 overall
Stafford QB3 overall
CMC continues to decline
Cam Starts but mac jones takes over week 3 and reminds everyone of a 2001 brady (no super bowl though)

Swift RB1 overall is... bold. Very very bold. You think this offense is going to actually score? Lol.
I do agree that I think we could continue to see C-Mac's physical toll/decline, though.

AFC North? That's going to be a tough division. I think Cleveland and Baltimore are likely playoff bound. I struggle to decide who will be better between Pittsburgh and Cincinnati.dustyroads wrote: ↑Mon May 03, 2021 12:21 pm The AFC East will send 3 teams into the playoffs, and all will have +.500 records (Bengals are odd man out but still finish 9-8)

Re: The Official 2021 Plant Your Flag thread
It originally started as “pick a player (or players) who you think will significantly exceed expectations” but quickly devolved into a bold predictions thread. That said, I’ll do both. Haha.
Flag Plants
QB - Jalen Hurts
RB - Ke’Shawn Vaughn
WR - Laviska Shenault
TE - Adam Trautman
Hawt Taeks
Aaron Rodgers goes to Denver and Sutton finishes as a top 10 WR
Philip Lindsay takes over the Texans’ backfield and finishes as a mid/high RB2
J-Rob outscores Etienne
Calvin Ridley finishes outside the top 12 WRs
Kelce finally starts to show signs of aging and is outscored by at least three other TEs
None of the rookie QBs finish in the top 12 this year
Sammy Watkins is the highest scoring WR in Baltimore, but it’s still only good for a WR3 season
Tony Pollard outscores Zeke
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties
