Bateman has Andrews , Hollywood & the aforementioned walking injury waiting to happen all ahead of him. Plus they drafted another WR rookie to compete plus Boykins still around. Sounds like a big mess so I'm out on Bateman being in the top 12-15
Imo outside of Hollywood and Andrew's everyone else on that roster profiles more as a depth receiver, there either drafted at that level or just haven't shown the ability to be more than that. I like Hollywood but he's a totally different stylistic receivier, my main concern is just can this offense support the volume needed to give good wr production.

My thoughts as well. Watkins is a short term fill-in and who knows what he has left and if he even fits in this offense. Hollywood will stay on the outside and stretch the field. Andrews is a big body but the defenses started keying in on him, so Baltimore went and got another. Bateman is exactly that. I doubt any of them are consistent for fantasy but if Bateman has good chemistry with Lamar, then he could be the WR1 for the team (which is maybe a WR2 for fantasy) with Hollywood making splash plays. Boykin is WR4 at best for now or special teams. I also liked Tylan as a prospect and am guessing he will challenge Boykin for that role. Hopefully he progresses as well. Duvernay is likely relegated to ST

I would do it and run ! Chase or Harris or Pitts it's fair enough. And after all, is Chase an absolute 1.01 ?

With Baltimore having Brown and Wallace on the outside(not concerned about Watkins) I see Bateman taking the majority of snaps in the slot and taking over there intermediate passing game.

Bateman’s football IQ and YAC ability will keep his efficiency numbers high even if the volume isn’t there right away. Lamar needs to develop as a passer in order to maintain long term success.

Based on talent alone Bateman is my WR2 in this class and I’m hoping his landing spot pushes him to the back end of round 1 in a couple of my leagues where I will be more than happy to take him.

I have a different order but agree that there is a significant drop after the top 7. I would replace Sermon with DeVonta Smith and say Sermon will probably end up being the consensus 1.08 given situation but that after 7/8 it's a crap shoot. I pick 1.09 and am working mostly now to fill out my bottom portion of the first. 1 QB 12 team first round rankings

4. Javonte Williams

8. Sermon (mainly because I think he'll be gone before me and irrelevant for me to rank)
9. Terrance Marshall (upside pick)
10. Elijah Moore
11. Lawrence
12. Bateman

I don't really understand the Bateman love but apparently the NFL agrees he's a first round talent. I do think there's another significant tier drop after 12 as you're looking at players like Toney, Rondale Moore, Other QBs, and a pretty sparce grouping of day 3 RBs

What do you guys suggest doing with Kyle Pitts in a non-TE league?

He probably won't be just a TE and he'll be put all over the field but with the WR/TE spot, is Pitts still a top pick or does he slide down to end of first?

As in a league with no TE spot? He'd slide down quite a bit for me as at that point you practically need truly elite production to be relevant as for reference kelce and waller woulda been top 10 at that wr/te spot but te3 and 4(thomas and hockenson) were all the way at 38 and 45.

Yeah no TE spot. They just get grouped in with WRs.

Nobody is ranking Carter huh? Hopefully that means I can get him reasonably priced in the leagues that haven’t drafted yet. But I think a lot of people are going to be kicking themselves for the oversight. He’s firmly in the 1st round for me.

I'm definitely not a fan of a few landing spots:

RB:
Harris to Pittsburgh feels like a trap: people like the volume, I hate the QB, and the OL.

Williams to Denver: Unless Gordon is cut, you've got to sweat them moving on from Gordon by next year. I expect that to happen, but it's unfortunate compared to other spots.

Sermon looked great until Elijah Mitchell arrived, he still looks great due to draft capital, but Mitchell isn't a WTF type prospect, he's legit, if he gets opportunity.

Gainwell to Philly hurts Sanders and himself.

Hubbard to Carolina and Evans to Cincy demolished any value there.

Not sure what to think of Kylin Hill to Green Bay other than AJ Dillons value took yet another hit.

WR:
The bulk of my disappointment lands with Bateman and Smith. The Eagles passing attack probably isn't lifting anyone, and neither will Baltimore. I went from super excited for Bateman in the mid 1st, to trying to figure out what his floor will actually be.

TE: The bottom fell out of the position after Pitts and Freirmuth went. Jordan's stock plummeted.

I came into this wanting to disagree, and I still kinda do because I like a lot of WR spots, but the RB position which already looked bad, now looks horrible, and what seemed like a good TE position was gut punched by draft capital.

The one guy I LOVE is Ronald Moore, already wanted him, and with 2nd round draft capital, he's flying up my board even higher than before.

One last note: Tamorrian Terry not getting drafted was brutal, but I'm not sure there was a better landing spot for an undrafted free agent like Terry than Seattle, where they don't give a ---- about draft capital when it comes to giving players reps, you impress, you play, simple as that. Great news for Terry, he'll be a rare exception to my (avoid WR's drafted in the 5th or later rule).

UGGGHHHHH Why are we doing this again? Do we never learn?

2019: "Titans suck for AJB, wow my god, awful, im not touching him" fast forward again "OOOPPPSSS should have taken him"
2019: "Metcalf to seattle is awful, he will never get the volume to hit 1300 yards, oh no" fast forward a few month "Damn that was a mistake"
2019: "Hardman to the chiefs, amazing, take him now"

2020 "OMG OMG CEH TO CHIEFS!!!! AMAZING!!!! OVERALL RB1!!!!!" months Later "SHould have take taylor"
2020 "Swift Lions, uggghhhhhh, man thats bad" months later "He may be better than CEH"

I can keep doing this and we all know it. Landing spot is so overrated. Please everyone keep letting Bateman fall to me so you can take a 9ers rb who will have 150 yards one game and 12 yards the next. Please let Etienne fall because you think a UDFA will still compete with him. I beg you.

Anyway, my rankings 1 qb
Etienne
Harris
Pitts
chase
Williams
Bateman
Waddle
Trevor
Smith
Marshall
Sermon
Toney
Elijah Moore
R Moore
Michael Carter
