Re: POST draft rookie rankings? Who ya got.
How I tier things right now. Not focusing on ranks within tiers, just clustering right now.
Harris, Pittsburgh, 24th pick
Chase, Cincinnati, 5th
Pitts, Atlanta, 4th
Etienne, Jax, 25th
------------------
Waddle, Miami, 6th
Javonte Williams, Denver, 35th
D Smith Philly, 10th
Lawrence, Jax, 1st
----------------
Elijah Moore, NYJ, 34th
Rondale Moore, Ariz, 49th
Toney, Chicago, 20th
Bateman, Balt, 27th
T Marshall, Carolina, 59th
Trey Sermon, SF, 88th
------------------------
Dyami Brown, Washington, 82nd
Amari Rodgers, GB, 85th
Freiermuth, Pitt, 52nd
Josh Palmer, LAC, 77th
Nico Collins, Houston, 89th
Tre McKitty, LAC, 97th
Not ranked- Anthony Schwartz Cleveland 91st, Tommy Tremble Carolina 83rd, Tutu Atwell LAR 57th, D'Wayne Eskridge Seattle 56th, Hunter Long Miami, all non-Lawrence QBs (Fields, Wilson, Lance, Mond, Trask, Mills)
That tier 2 looks (too?) small, tier 3 a big random hodge podge. These are for 1 QB leagues, and I still might have Lawrence too high. In terms of draft capital, Javonte Williams and Trey Sermon stand out as being grouped in a tier with other players with MUCH higher draft capital.

Would you sell the 1.01, if you could get the 1.02 and 1.04 (maybe with a little add on to the 1.01)

Re: POST draft rookie rankings? Who ya got.
Way behind on rookies this year, both because of other priorities and because my long-time league is stupidly doing a re-draft this year as of a couple of days ago (such utter bullsh*t lol) so I left, but I agree - maybe we were spoiled the past few drafts.
I wasn't going to be getting anybody this year in the first two rookie rounds anyway, but from what little I've pieced together so far, seems like round 1 dries up really fast as far as exciting prospects. Good year to take a break or start over!

Oversight by me, Pitts should be back of tier 2 for me. Sermon might be tier 2 now also.

I agree. I thought this was a stronger draft on paper before the draft. After the landing spots, it doesn't look as good.

Re: POST draft rookie rankings? Who ya got.
Covid has affected the NFL general manager's perceptions? The offensive skill positions fell too later rounds compared to last year. Not a surprise, but it still feels like a weak class.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.
Re: POST draft rookie rankings? Who ya got.
Toney was drafted by NYG.. I actually like Dyami and Rodgers more than him.. otherwise, I don't hate this listPullo Vision wrote: ↑Sat May 01, 2021 9:07 am How I tier things right now. Not focusing on ranks within tiers, just clustering right now.

Re: POST draft rookie rankings? Who ya got.
Well that was not really my point but since you seem to want take it personally I will address it. You said “The offensive skill positions fell “too” later rounds but the 2021 NFL draft set a record in 2021 with seven offensive picks in a row becoming the longest selection streak of offensive players ever. The first 6 players were offensive skill positions. Two RB’s were taken in the first round, we had TE taken at four which is the highest ever for a TE.
But we can ignore all of this facts just to continue your narrative. How do you feel a player that opted out of a season like Ja’Marr Chase would have been been treated for opting out a year in the past? In a non COVID year? And add to that none of these players attended the NFL combine and instead just attended pro days. Tell me how that would have went in the past in a non COVID year?
Yeah, I think this year was different and that we could be surprised with some players because of it.
Personally there are some players I am interested in that I think will fall in leagues like Devonta Smith who I would take over Henry Riggs or Jalen Reagor from last year for instance.
Re: POST draft rookie rankings? Who ya got.
Did Sammy Watkins opt out already or am I missing something ?
Bateman has Andrews , Hollywood & the aforementioned walking injury waiting to happen all ahead of him. Plus they drafted another WR rookie to compete plus Boykins still around. Sounds like a big mess so I'm out on Bateman being in the top 12-15
