Aaron Rodgers - are we RELAX-ed?
Re: Aaron Rodgers "injury history"
His concussions are what scare me. Way more so than anything else. He had a 2013-Wes Welker in 2010. Don't think that'll keep him off the field at any point. But it could (could) end his career a tad earlier than not.

Re: Aaron Rodgers "injury history"
I recall there used to be some concern about his concussion history. I think he had one in college as well, so with the new policies being put in place by the NFL there was concern a third concussion could leave him on the sideline for an extended period. He also takes a little bit more of a pounding than a team should be letting it's franchise player take.
For the most part, I agree with you. I've never looked at Rodgers as an injury risk and I think most people are on the same page there judging by his ADP. I don't really see all that many references to Rodgers' injury history here either.

Re: Aaron Rodgers "injury history"
You sure this poll isnt about McFadden????
Aaron Rodgers
Cost me a game this week. Wasn't able to exploit a banged up Lion secondary that continued to lose people during the game, wasn't able to push the ball down the field. What the hell happened today? Absolutely pathetic performance

Very concerning for me.BuckeyeNation wrote:The Packers haven't looked good all year so far.
Rodgers doesn't look to be himself and Lacy and Cobb were both supposed to be in the top 10 of their position and look awful.
Re: Aaron Rodgers
The Packers were being hyped up as the team to beat in the NFC North for no reason.
They did nothing to address their needs in the off-season and instead went after guys like Julius Peppers.

Re: Aaron Rodgers
I think Rodgers will be fine... if the owner in your league was was worried, id try to get him. I love Cobb and nelson but when Rodgers struggles so do they. I am a little worried about lacy though. I know they faced 3 tough run defenses but he doesn't look like he did last year.

Re: Aaron Rodgers
I'd chalk it up to bad play calling. Rodgers only threw the ball 29 times. Now granted he was a little off today, but the coach still needs to attack the weakness of the defense and that was the secondary.

Re: Aaron Rodgers
...Did you see what the Lions defensive line was doing to that offensive line? They absolutely dominated the offensive line of the Packers.bigbabybear wrote:I'd chalk it up to bad play calling. Also - while they "only" threw it 27 times, they rushed the ball only 22 times.
Their offense just couldn't stay on the field and despite the Packers winning the turnover battle, the Lions defense dominated that offense.
Re: Aaron Rodgers
You been watching the Packers? Obviously not. Julius has had a great beginning to the season. He was constantly in Stafford's face today. And for no reason? Rodgers. 5 straight playoff births. 3 straight NFC North titles. Obviously they were going to be called the team to beat.PhadedCN wrote:The Packers were being hyped up as the team to beat in the NFC North for no reason.

Going into this game Cobb had 3 td's and was averaging 15 ppg in my non-ppr. He had been weathering the storm pretty well so far. I'm also not sure I remember too many people predicting a top 10 season by Cobb, but I could be wrong about that.The_Future wrote:Very concerning for me.BuckeyeNation wrote:The Packers haven't looked good all year so far.

Re: Aaron Rodgers
Well that's my point. Why would you run the ball 22 times if their d-line is controlling the line of scrimmage and is the strength of their defense. Green Bay has one of the top 5 QBs in the league, elite weapons at WR, and the coaches are worried about "balance"? Screw that, just let Rodgers air it out and stop running into the teeth of their defense.PhadedCN wrote:...Did you see what the Lions defensive line was doing to that offensive line? That is where I am at...has there been a worse coach in the NFL so far this season than McCarthy? I'm considering benching Rodgers next week in favor of Luck but knowing how things have gone for my teams this year, that'll be the week that Rodgers breaks out and puts up 50.

Re: Aaron Rodgers
Green Bay has sucked so far this year and what did they expect? They had major holes on defense, a shitty O line, and don't have a TE. What did they if to fix that? Used their second round pick on a WR. Nice job.
