Be realistic with your teams, being able to control your rebuild is a nice place to start.

...is that a fantasy expert is just a person who plays fantasy football and has an audience to voice their opinions to.

Probably league dependent (I’m only in 2 dynasty style leagues, with a ton of overlap in owners / friend leagues), and has been said before.

Sometimes just riding out players until the wheels collapse is best route. I rode out breeze, forte, Fitzgerald, lynch, sproles, Gronk to great success / championship. I tried selling every year, and came so close to selling for pennies just because I “didn’t want to be stuck”. Get the rings when you can

1. Dont buy RBs between the end of fantasy and the NFL draft, its too replaceable no matter what RB you have
2. Consider all trades with everyone even if you dont have a great trade relationship with them from the past, even division foes if you have divisions in your league
3. Look at league trends some "experts" may say draft best available and trade for need, but if your league values Running backs high you may need to consider drafting them since you will have to overpay in a trade.

1. Play dynasty in 2-3 year windows. The phrase "I have such and such for the next 10 years" is worthless. So much changes in the NFL that it's pointless valuing anything beyond a couple of years.

2. Buying high on non-elite RBs after their rookie contract is going to backfire.

3. Using ADP to value players is worthless unless you're a new dynasty player.

4. Piling on with get your guy. Regardless of the opinions we have and whether you're winning or losing, dynasty is way more fun when you can root for players who you actually like.

Well, your team 1 is a SF and can start what, 7 WRs with only 2 RBs?

I get your point but that league goes out of it's way to devalue RBs.

Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

For me, what I have learned is:

1. Don't listen to others if you have a strong feeling about a player, get your guy. I am talking to you Jamar Chase and Kyle Pitts this year
2. I don't know as much as I want to think I know.......
I am just a guy sharing some thoughts

1. Don’t overpay for your guy. You don’t know as much as you think you do. Emotional maturity is understanding that you don’t win or lose any extra if you have “your guy” on your team. Be dispassionate and just take the best player.

2. Think beyond a 2-3 year window. Yeah, it’s really hard to predict that far out, and people get hurt. I get it. But younger players hold their value for longer.

3. Almost every trade that happens in your league that you aren’t involved in hurts your team. Be active.

4. There are 1 or 2 guys in most leagues who are dumb enough to accept a bad offer, and if you don’t send it to them, somebody else will.

5. Unless you think an offer is extraordinarily in your favor, shop around before you take a deal.

6. It’s ok to sell low. Ask everybody who turned down offers last season for Sam Darnold in SuperFlex. Looking at you, Drew Lock.

7. People don’t shop their top of the line players nearly enough. Maybe in small lineup formats this is fine, but guys like Barkley, McCaffery, Kamara can land you more than they’re worth.

8. The higher yield drafting strategy is to
