Johnson had 144 targets last year because he is a great route runner. He may get close to 100 receptions this season if he improves his concentration.

Chase won't come close to those target numbers IMO.

The better the player the more tolerable teams are with drops. Hill and Kamara dropped in the double digits as well last year and they are Great Players.

Drops used to be something to devalue a player for, but it's a pretty overrated thing.

1. Most players get past them.
2. Even if #1 doesn't happen, volume is king.

So Ja'Marr Chase had an all time great prospect profile, now has put up an all time great NFL debut, and he was being faded because of preseason drops and social media posts? Couldn't be happier to have had him fall to me in a few places because of the dingbats that pay attention to that stuff

He does need protection but the tackles are fine. He needs IOL protection badly which Sewell wouldn't be helpful with that.

Through his first three games, Chase is 11/220/4 and currently WR4 in standard scoring going into tonight’s game. I was not expecting this kind of start after seeing him in preseason. The touchdown pace will in all likelihood cool down some. It was encouraging to see him put up strong numbers yesterday without Tee Higgins to draw away coverage. Looks like the sky’s the limit for him if burrow can stay healthy (which is a big if; he’s been getting beaten up behind that line).

Yeah, i don’t blame you with supply and demand of RBs. I had the 1.3 and was going to take ETN or Najee if available because of my RB situation. And in my league, Young RBs go for outrageous prices compare to the street. But they both went at 1 and 2, so I ended up with chase. Not complaining so far though!
