Unpopular Opinion: You will waste your premium 1st round pick on Kyle Pitts.

What would Najee Harris have to do in order to jump his rank above Pitts? Because right now, Harris looks like a WAAAAY better fantasy asset than Pitts. At least Pitts has a HUGE opportunity this week against the Jets with multiple ATL WRs out.

Way better short term asset for sure. Long term probably not, but who knows. Most owners didn’t take Pitts over Najee because they thought he would be better this season, but because they’re hoping his talent will last 8+ seasons.

He does have a big opportunity this weekend. His targets are top 5 for a TE he just hasn’t gotten a TD yet. Hopefully that changes in Lasso Land!

Very true. My personal philosophy is draft for production and trade for a TE when you’re ready. Let’s see how pitts’ week goes!

Another is that with Ridley missing and three 3rd-string scrubs posing as a WR squad on the field, the defense will double and triple-team Pitts into submission.

Personally, I'd like to see Pitts (any Atlanta receiver) have at least one great game. Just to prove the offense can still do it.

Patterson is listed as a RB on the falcons depth chart. Not sure how you define receiver, not sure why he’s wr eligible either, but the person you’re replying to clearly is going off Patterson as rb (as does the falcons depth chart).

I think it's CBS leagues that give him dual eligibility. Not sure why they've done that either.

I'm not on the hype train either, but if someone paid a "premium" pick for Pitts, I think it would be stupid to sell now.

Of course it's always league dependent and some will overpay, but I don't see the reason to sell and I don't even own him

I really don't understand the Pitts hate at this point. Hesitation was warranted before because first round TEs aren't even close to guaranteed, but now we have on-field production to pair with his significant pedigree. What more do you need to see?
