Two in the 2017 draft: Fournette over Cook, and the wrong Desh(one/aun) — Kizer over Watson ... I could explain the thinking on that one, but why bother?

Then again, Mahomes, Kamara and Godwin at picks 10, 20, and 30, respectively, in the same draft kinda made up for it. If we’d come out of that with Cook and Watson in addition to those three, we’d have probably been kicked out of the league by now.

I made a deal in 2018 during the draft with 1.10 on the clock. Kerryon was still on the board, which floored me at the time, so I gave Keenan/2020 1st (which ended up as 1.09) for 1.10. I could still be using Keenan today and could have had Jefferson at the 1.09 in 2020!

2018 I took Guice at 1.02 and Michel at 1.06. The thing with Michel is he never looked anything like he did at college at any point with the Pats. Very frustrating.

One of the few times I'd angled to get the top picks in the rookie draft, guess it was 2010, but I was picking 1.01-1.03.

I decided to go with the can't-miss combo of Sam Bradford, Ryan Matthews, and Dez Bryant. .333 is pretty good in baseball, but not great for your fantasy football team.

TE: TJ Hockenson, D. Njoku, B. Jordan

14 Team, .5 PPR, 18 Man Roster, Rush/Rec TD = 6, Pass TD = 4, FG = 3, Start: QB, 2RB, 2WR, TE, Flex, K, D

I've missed an absolute ton of players over the years and have an especially poor hit rate in the 2nd round and lower. I cant say I've taken any massive busts with early picks, but my biggest miss has been Herbert. I could have taken him in all leagues in the mid to end of the 1st or traded up a little to get him. And now I'm QB needy in all my leagues, watching Herbert ranked in the top 5ish QBs.

I got pretty lucky with Herbert. I wasn't particularly high on him, but he just kept falling in drafts. Got him in three of my dynasties in the late 2nd round (1 QB leagues). What a gift he was. Got lucky.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

Herbert went in the second round, I kept trying to trade back in to get him, but didn't get him. 2.11 in one league, and 2.10 in the other. Kills me. LOL

Ouch. A lot of us got hurt on White. I'm in Chicago.

Lmao. I picked Moss over Shenault. Not quite as bad, but still bad.

Reagor over Jefferson last year*
*technically I traded back 1 pick OTC for a bump up in the later 2nd, so it was Reagor and Shenault instead of Jefferson and Moss. Still sucks.
Going back further, I took Agholor over David Johnson because I thought I could get Johnson a few picks later, and didn't want to "reach" even though I had Johnson higher.
Going back even further, I took Charles Rogers over Andre Johnson in one of my 1st rookie drafts. Still saddens me Rogers didn't fulfill his potential. Stupid Lions.
Dynasty player since 2002.
I probably should have done something more productive with that time...

I drafted Bishop Stankey. No other information matters.

I took Guice over Chubb at 1.02. My gut said Chubb, my heart said Guice...

I made the same pick but I don't consider it a mistake, it just didn't work out. You can't predict the injuries, and Chubb had significantly more reason for concern health wise entering the league, and you REALLY can't predict all the off-field issues Guice had. I still believe Guice was the better pick and would have been the better player if he hadn't fallen apart physically and mentally, and he is just another example of talent not being the only factor to success. We're not going to get them all right.
