This whole time I've been thinking about a Watson trade, I've been looking at it from an NFL perspective, with cap constraints and the like. What about WR corps that could use a shot in the QB arm?
Minnesota
Dallas (Dak a FA)
Indy
LA Rams
Atlanta
Carolina
Pittsburgh
Denver

Seems to be a fair number of NFC teams.
League #1- 14 tm ppr, 1Q, 2R, 3W, 1T, 1 R/W/T, 1K

League #2- 12 team PPR, 1Q, 1R, 2W, 1T, 1 R/W/T, 1 W/R/T, 1 Def

League #3- 12 tm PPR, 1Q, 0R (yes, ZERO RB) 3W, 1T, 2 R/W/T flex, 1 Def

IND, LAR, DEN, PIT, CHI, SF would all be instant Super Bowl contenders with Watson at the helm.

He's probably not going there given that they don't have a lot of ammo to trade for him, though.

MIA or CAR are probably the best realistic landing spots

Jalen Ramsey is saying to anybody that will listen that Watson is going to LA.

Those are all things that were missing from CLE last year.
you can bet your left bollock they'd have those weapons if they had watson though. and despite his recent downs and injuries, beckham IS a playmaker.

That's one of my favorite destinations. Goff is a limiter to that offense. I'd love to see what McVay does with that offense, and the defense would be in even better situations to succeed.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

Do they even have a first this year? Can't imagine them wanting Goff.

The Ramsey trade is the reason they don't have their first I believe

I would say that’s the case only if Houston has to take a highly paid QB back in return. Rams definitely had to add some incentive for DET to take on the Goff contract.

Depends on your opinion of Goff I guess. He's a franchise QB to me. Lots of teams would be happy to take on Goff and his contract.

Your opinion is one thing, but it’s been stated that even in the circle of the NFL that this was a variable. The Rams wanted him gone and had to give to get that contract off the books. That alone says he’s not viewed as an asset relative to his contract, by either team in the transaction. Legit Franchise QBs aren’t viewed that way, regardless of their contract. Goff does not fall into that category.

I’m not saying Goff is trash, but a bad contract changes his NFL value given what it is relative to what he is. His outlook in Detroit isn’t great.
