I’m willing to acknowledge that this attorney is an ambulance chasing slimeball who may or may not have personal motivation to assassinate Watson’s character.

I also deeply believe that every accusation should be treated as a serious one until it’s proven not to be.

These things can both be true; however the idea that somebody in the Houston ownership leadership PAID this guy to do this is absolutely bleep bonkers.

What I found interesting about Buzbee's tweet was he claimed he doesn't know McNair, "Cal or Hal or whatever his name is"

So you knew enough to pick out literally the most obscure first name ending in "Al" but you never knew him...

Sure thing there Buzz.

I didn’t know this. There’s literally a tweet of his talking about how he was his neighbor.

So they engineered allegations of rape and sexual misconduct against the face of their franchise? Yeah, that passes the smell test...
Honestly, Houston is very dysfunctional so who knows?
So you think that has even an iota of credibility? I think too highly of you to believe that.
I am an NFL owner that has proven I beliieve all these players are my possessions. I ask my friend to do somenthing to make the abliitity for one of my possessions to not leave my team be easy. You thing this is a stretch? If I am wrong and Watson is a douche bag, than I am wrong, but his smells, smells bad.

Those are literally the most obscure names ending in “al” in your opinion, which is what makes it interesting? You must know more Malechis, Salvatores, and Valentinos than I do.

Yes. An epically immense one.

And could you please provide your proof that Janice McNair thinks players are possessions?

This whole thing doesn't pass the smell test---
1. Buzbee has never tried a sexual assault case;
2. Difficult to believe this pattern of behavior started March of 2020 and that before awarding a $156M contract the HOU leadership didnt do some digging/investigating of thier own on Watson;
3. None of these women went to the police. Yes, 12 accounts makes one believe something happened but at same time none of those 12 went to the police.
4. The text messages between Watson and 1 victim do nothing to cooperate the civil suit other than Watson apologizing if she was uncomfortable, but must not have been too much fuss because he asked if she wants future employment.
5. A prominent defense attorney told Buzbee to file a motion for a Grand Jury. Buzbee wouldnt know that? Wouldnt you seek advice of a current or former prosecuting attorney? Grand Jury - why? Because evidence is weak and DA will be able to direct the questioning of the jurors (defense is not represented). This is a scare tactic.
6. Why would the star of your franchise be required to hire these devices on his own. HOU should be getting potential individuals to trust thier franchise player to a he said/she said type scenario.

It all just doesn't make sense other than Buzbee out for celebrity and money.

No real telling what is going on at this point but a couple of notes.

Buzbee is an extremely successful individual and actually quite famous in Houston Circles. I get people wanting to call him some ambulance chaser but he is mega successful and as high profile as it gets in this area. One look at his website and one will see he was the attorney of the year in the entire state of Texas in 2015.

Maybe he has gone crazy and is willing risk his millions and his reputation but it's pretty unlikely. He made his millions helping individuals against major companies.

What is far more likely is Watson may be a sex addict of sorts that likes higher risk activity. Obviously, none of this has ever gone to the police it seems but with so many coming forward it kind of reminds of Bill Cosby from yesteryear.

Watson has millions, he certainly could have gone the high end escort type arrangements had he chosen to do so.

Maybe it's a complete sham but with so many coming forward it doesn't sound like it. Buzbee is getting sworn affidavits from individuals. Perjury is a crime as well so probably makes more sense to see how this plays out but my guess is it ends with Watson entering rehab for a sex addiction.

That is realistic outcome - public apology, rehab, settle, and 1yr suspension

You're gonna have to show me another example of that happening because as far as I know that isn't normal.
The lawyer can be a bottom feeding ambulance chasing gutter snipe and the women can be telling the truth. One does not preclude the other.

All we’ve seen so far is numerous uncorroborated accounts of the incidents - which would explain why these are civil actions rather than criminal charges. However, if this drags on for any length of time I would expect a DA to feel enough public pressure to start taking an interest in what’s going on.

There’s really no way right now with what has been disclosed to date to know whether anything happened or not.
Of course. This is just one of the many things that have already been mentioned that don't add up. And it leads to the question, "why didn't any of them go to the police? Why did it take an IG post for everyone to come forward?". It doesn't mean Deshaun is innocent by any means, but the prosecution is lacking the forensic evidence that would have come with a more normal process.

I'm already sick of hearing about it. We don't really know anything yet and all we can do is wait.

Speculative reports from today that the panthers, eagles, jets, dolphins, SF, and Denver are still interested in making a move. This is going to be quite the rollercoaster, to say the least.

I think that pretty much tells us he will play unless this ends up with a criminal conviction.

I’m not sure you understand what speculative means.
