Odds are he will be in the top 12 by draft time when capital and landing spot are known but yes--purely on talent I see a straight line runner with Trent Richardson like vision teeing off running down overmatched defenses who has major pass protection risk

His saving grace is that he has improved as a reciever over the last few years

I'll probably have him at 8 or so around draft time but needless to say I don't expect to get many shares

Jamaal Charles was a size-speed athletic freak with really good routes, acceleration and at least average vision and decent pass pro

I am not going to pretend like ETN can't be good but his 3rd down skillset isn't anywhere near that level at the moment and I don't really think his contact balance is either (though that's not as far off a comparison)

His straight line speed and mayyybe his acceleration/burst are the only areas where he can compare to Charles

He reminds me more of Tevin Coleman with better contact balance but less 3rd down skills

He was much more productive as a receiver in college than Charles was, and Charles only had one season where he really stood out as a receiver which came in his 6th season as a pro. Of course comparing a draft prospect to a fully developed Pro Bowl RB in his prime is going to come out in Pro's favor most of the time.

And much like Etienne and most RBs entering the draft, pass protection was looked at as an area that needed significant improvement for Charles when he was drafted.

I’m not sure how someone could have Eteinne out of the top 12 and Zach Wilson in in a 1QB league.

Like Wilson all you want, but purely from a strategic standpoint it makes no sense to take him in the first round
I may or may not be related to Bryan Edwards

I'll assume we're guessing draft positioning (where we'd be taking them), rather than pure talent. Therefore,
1-Chase
2-Harris
3-Etienne
4-J. Williams
5-Bateman
6-Pitts
7-Jefferson
8-Lawrence
9-Gainwell
10-D. Smith
11-Waddle
12-Marshall
