Exactly. Don't have time for the victory lapping, I told you so, type stuff after a 4/29 yard performance on 6 targets. Back to watching the Raiders.Cameron Giles wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 1:56 pmgogobradyarm wrote: ↑Sun Oct 17, 2021 1:46 pmTo clarify, I'm more so stating, I hope people sold Brown for max value. He is going to fall off, but i'm not rooting for him to suck or anything. He is simply going to fall off because Bateman is an alpha.gogobradyarm wrote:Bateman is a better fit for Lamar, and it is going to be fun to see Brown fall off.

Totally. Reminds me of when Harbs was asked about him in training camp (before the injury) and his answer was simply:ArrylT wrote: ↑Tue Oct 26, 2021 8:33 am https://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/ra ... nstant-hit
So far so good.
"He's been as-advertised."
Great to see him out there and playing inside and outside. I think they've got a good one here...

Man, if they would just use him correctly.

Can you elaborate?

Re: Rashod 4.39man
let me rephrase it: "Man, if they would just use him."
He's by far their best WR, but wasn't really used in the first half, in which the team scored 3 points. Watkins fumbled the game, Brown had 37 yards on 13 targets and a fumble (that Bateman recovered). In the 4th quarter (where he seemed to me he played nearly all snaps), he lead the teams two bests drives of the game.
Re: Rashod 4.39man
I agree that he should be used more, but I'm not going to take away a lot from that disaster of a performance all around. He needs to be used more at the expense of Watkins though as he also had a missed TD. It was a toss up by Lamar but it landed right next to him...thebadferret wrote: ↑Fri Nov 12, 2021 4:40 amlet me rephrase it: "Man, if they would just use him."

I disagree Bateman > Brown. Idk why this is a constant debate, they do very different things and do both very well. I am happy to own both in dynasty. I think Bateman was more efficient because of the pressure Miami put on Baltimore. The short passing game was the way to go last night but they didn't stick with it
Brown targets weren't great either. Lamar was under pressure all night and Miami played him perfectly. There's no run game outside of Lamar, so rush the passer and drop back in zone. Brown had 3 screens put of his 6 Rec. I can't find all of his other targets, I know he had the one drop, but Lamar could've placed that much better. One Jump ball which was defended well.
I thought the real issue was the playcalling. The 1st drive worked well and then they scrapped all of it. Nearly every pass play, you see defenders back in zone and the Ravens receivers running deep into these zones. Meanwhile the OL and maybe a 6th blocker is trying to stop as many pass rushers and doing a very poor job. Run the ball some more or focus on shorter passes. It was mind boggling to me.

What are people willing to pay in terms of 2022 draft picks? As a Steelers fan it pains me to say but I see a younger version of Keenan Allen when I watch him play and I think Lamars continued growth as a passer will help him reach his ceiling sooner than later. He was my WR2 in this class based on his all around game and I think he's proven himself to have a solid floor early on in his career.

Re: Rashod 4.39man
I get the stylistic comp.. but he's a significantly better athlete than Keenandhanks91 wrote: ↑Sat Nov 13, 2021 10:11 am What are people willing to pay in terms of 2022 draft picks? Keenan Allen 4.7+ man
In all seriousness, I'd easily pay a mid 22 1st for sure. I don't think many owners would accept that though unless they don't realize he's been hurt and have only seen his box score stats.
He's made some ridiculous catches

Was one of my favorite WR coming out as he ticked so many boxes. Early breakout age, set freshman record at MINN. Size/speed combo. Film showed great hands. Seemed like he was devalued due to his JR year being cut short to covid, so his stats looked lighter, but per game was great. Playerprofiler had him comped to Diggs and after I saw that I couldn't get it out of my head. I also saw a lighter DJ Moore with less YAC skills. I had him ranked 2a with Smith and Waddle 2b and 2c. Problem was, I wasn't anywhere in my draft to make that decision so I ended up with 0 shares until I recently traded away Cooks and Mitchell for Bateman. Wanted to buy in before the blow up

Traded Kareem Hunt for Bateman the week before Bateman came back and Hunt got injured. At the time thought I sold a little low on Hunt (probably did). But feeling better and better about it now.

Bateman out for the rest of the season. What is the deal with Ravens and WRs?
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.
