I'm higher on OBJ than most and genuinely think he's still one of the most talented WRs in football. There's a huge chemistry issue in CLE. I understand being tired of him as a fantasy asset and wanting out on him, but simply not wanting a talented player on your roster is wild to me lol

That lack of chemistry is a huge red flag for me. Stud receivers can work with any QB. Many stars still out up huge numbers despite bad QBs.

I think eventually OBJ will be on another team, but he may again have chemistry issues. Depending on roster sizes, having an unstartable asset may not work.

I think that's a fair criticism for the most part. Idk the Baker/Odell connection (or lack thereof) has been tough to watch.
Roster size and strength of team/depth would be a legitimate consideration in that scenario for sure, good point

I agree with you for the most part except on the bolded above. I think of him more as on the WR2/WR3 cusp for FF. One of those highlight reel players it's fun to watch.

But this team, I have a top notch starting lineup but if I lose one player, I can't fill the void. For example, with Cook out last week I had to start Jaret Patterson. When Higgins was out I was starting Donovan Peoples Jones. Plus it's a SF and I have only one QB who is an NFL starter (Darnold). I'm 1-4 and going nowhere so I'm moving assets - maybe a bit early - that can produce currently for contenders.

It just floored me that in a trade where I was giving him OBJ heavily discounted, he just saw OBJ and rejected without looking at the rest.

Offer was Cook, Callaway, OBJ for Watson, Etienne, 2022 1, 2023 1 (both likely late) plus Lindsay and Kylin Hill (his likely drops). Other team was 3-1 and I was 0-4 at the time.
