Though I bet if you went RB still you're probably happy, if not happier than getting CEH
Yes, sometimes better to be lucky than good. Actually ended up trading up from the 1.04 to the 1.03 to get JK Dobbins.

I agree that trading up with someone in mind is a mistake but trading up right now is cheaper than it will be in a month or two.

I've done two off-season so far.

1. Gave - Kenyan Drake
Got - AJ Dillon and 2.09

I'm worried about Drake going forward..didn't look too good and I don't know if he will be a team's RB1 next year. I have Aaron Jones so I wanted Dillon to try and capitalize if Jones goes somewhere else. Hopefully it works out.

2. Gave - Lockett, Jonu Smith, 2.09
Got - Jeudy, 2.07

This one I'm hoping Jeudy pans out and fixes his drops. I wanted off the Lockett because of the consistency and the Jeudy owner wanted Jonnu on top.
10 Team - 0.5 PPR - QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, TE, FLEX, FLEX, DEF

QB: J. Allen, Lance
RB: Kamara, Ekeler, Rhamondre, Bijan, Montgomery, Kendre Miller, Tank Bigsby, Damien Harris
WR: Diggs, M. Brown, Aiyuk, Pittman, Smith-Ngjiba, Dotson, Sutton, Jayden Reed, Boutte
TE: Kittle, Pat Freiermuth, T. McBride, C. Okonkwo

Good trade. Washington is far from dead.

I've always been a fan of buying the cheapest PIT WR and watching that stock increase. Has worked well for the past several years... Martavis, Juju, Diontae...

Not me and can't believe this happened:

Team A: OBJ
Team B: Darnell Savage (DB)

For the IDP owners: There is no justification here and especially so considering Savage ONLY doubled OBJ points this year (with OBJ playing about a 1/3 season)

I've heard several people talking about taking him as the first non QB in SF/TE premium leagues. #7 is not safe in superflex. It's definitely not safe in non SF. It's not even safe in non TE premium IMO. I would never make a move, especially predraft, expecting a specific player to fall to a certain point unless I'm ok with the other players on the board. People are going to take Pitts higher than we've ever seen TE going in rookie drafts. He may fall to #7 in this league and ultimately, this person knows their league better than we do, but it's not a safe bet IMO.
7 is a decent bet in SF, a risky bet in standard, a no go in TEP, just my opinion. But i agree with you ultimately that it is not worth trading around those luxury picks until after NFL draft
No, 1.07 is not a guarantee to land you Pitts, but I think you will have a really good shot. Prolly have 3rb's and atleast 2wr's go. What does the teams at 1.05 and 1.06 have at TE? That will give a little better idea. If it's not TEP I'm not taking a TE in the top 5-6, but that's just me.
The owner of 1.5 has Waller and the owner at 1.6 has Andrews, and they have big needs at WR and TE.

I would never bank on getting a player but my hope is that I put myself in the best position to get Pitts. I also don't see the value of pick #7 dropping at any point give the current tier breaks that are lining up.

Also, to provide some additional context, I have picks 2.1, 2.2, 2.7, 2.8, 2.10 & 2.11 in the second round (and three more in the 3rd). Moving 2.4 for a chance to snag Pitts was a risk worth taking.

As long as you are ok with the chance of him not falling, it seems like a fine risk. I never expect other owners to make logical choices though. Just because those owners have a good TE already doesn't mean they wont draft Pitts. Lots of owners, myself included, draft based on who is at the top of my board and not for need.

How? I have offered up Drake for far less and nobody in my league will touch him. Its pretty annoying at this point.

Wow. I don't care for Hardman, so this seems like a sell to get out from Wentz. In a 1 QB, has his value dropped to that?
