Well going up against Jacobs & Waller in one league, fortunately 2 week playoff. He's off to a nice lead though.
Thanks for that Monday Morning QB insight lol

Outside of the pick Mariota looked great in that offense. Would love to see him get another game (sorry Carr owners). His decision making looked better than and he didn't look scared straight when being rushed. His ability to run is a great compliment to what Gruden is trying to do.

Well, he should have thrown at least 1 or 2 more anyway.

Put me in the camp that thinks last nights game was a really, really bad thing for Carr. I've always thought he was underrated...but could easily see the raiders moving on now. Not an big Mariota fan or anything, just thought he looked equally serviceable (maybe more upside?) and significantly cheaper.

I'm a little surprised everyone is burying Carr after one decent game from Mariota... I have never really liked Carr though and it seemed like Mariota was good for the offense last night.

I thought the Raiders were more stuck to Carr than they are though... signed next 2 years, Cap hit of 22M and 20M. They can cut him and would only have dead cap of 2.5M. Mariota is signed for 2021 with cap hit of 10M

If I'm the Raiders, I would not fall in love with Mariota. To his credit, he played well, but he has a lot of ground to cover to make up for what were some bad years in Tennessee.

Carr is a legitimately good QB. 24-7 TD-INT this season, 102 passer rating, 7.6 Y/A, and his best weapon is a TE. I'm not sure what more he has to do to prove he's in that 2nd tier of QBs, which is a good thing to be.

I must have been watching a different game ... Mariota looked good his first drive and then all his inadequacies in the passing game showed up. He missed Agoholor badly on a couple throws that would have won the game for them.

Michael Thomas OUT. I'm telling you, something is going on there behind the scenes. I know they're going with the ankle injury, but why do I feel like he's going to go full "Antonio Brown" this offseason? I dunno, weird timing too after they announce that Brees is starting.

I don't know the cap ramifications, but I would not be shocked if he's moved in the offseason. Getting Diggs/Minnesota vibes.

Well as I said elsewhere I benched him prior to the game, so it was actually Thursday afternoon qbing. Also I'm really posting that to point out what the factors were going into the game just so if it comes up again in the future maybe people will consider the injury popping up after the last game, on a short week, to a hammy, and with reports that the player would be on a snap count. Of course of he caught the end zone target he got he would have salvaged the game, and obviously depending on options he may not be benchable, but lowering expectations for this game for him would have been good.

I remember the gool ol' days when Michael Thomas seemed like the safest player for 2020 PPR production.

I was joking more than anything. Yeah in most of the leagues I had no better options and in a couple I am such a big dog that he was worth the risk, if that makes sense.

Don't get it twisted, Thomas is still an elite WR. He did what Odell Beckham did for Eli Manning in his last few years by prolonging the fall off the cliff.
