Tomlin hasn't been playing him much because he doesn't want him to hit the rookie wall. That's kind of like fearing my house will burn down so I don't build one in the first place, but hey, that's Mike Tomlin and for some reason people actually think he's a good coach

It's the same thought as Michael Thomas- save him for when he's needed. The playoffs. No point getting there and one of your prime weapons is mentally/physically unable to help. I also think claypool is a really nice buy. Juju too. Claypool has really good upside if they can bring back any sort of deep ball in the future.
