If he's healthy, you have to play him. He can easily get you 5+ receptions and 100 total yards in PPR.

Akins over Tonyan for targets vacated by Cooks
Washington over Hunt to diversify b/c I have Chubb.
In fairness, Tonyan and Hunt are not studs.
No respect for the TE4 and a fringe RB1. Just playing though. Everyone's definition of stud is different

He could also play 1 quarter and call it a day. Considering they have a 1% chance or so of making the playoffs and CMC has gone down twice now with significant injuries I would start whoever I have been using to make the playoffs. Clearly they got you this far since CMC has played less than 3 games all year. Playoffs are a helluva time to find out he is active but just the emergency RB.

Agree. And don’t wanna turn the thread into an advice thread, but it is an interesting look at “just start your studs”. Gonna look real dumb if I don’t play him and he blows up, and it’s gonna be a real let down if I plug him in and he basically doesn’t play or just gets a few snaps. So like I said originally, looking forward to making the wrong call there haha

Doubt we see him again this year TBH. But if he happens to play this week I’ll use him in my consolation bracket lineups 11/10 times since my other option is currently Tevin Coleman.

Not trading Mixon and Dobbins for Kamara back in May. I did a whole thread about a snake bit team I have...but had I made that trade my team would have gone from 7-6 and missing the playoffs to 12-1 and winning the division and the bye.

I started several non studs like Marvin Jones because they had consistent volume, though their ceilings felt limited and floor depressed. Decided not to start MVS over any of them because he had inconsistent target counts.
Not starting MVS as my 4th WR and instead focusing on target/touch floor felt like a scaredy cat move and that one decision cost me a win.

Well it's not a move by me, and hasn't cost me the championship YET, but this went down in my league this week:

My sig league has no trading deadline, all 4 of the other leagues I am in do. The day before the Raiders play TNF week 15, my opponent who was the 2 seed has a banged up RB core. He proceeds to make this deal:

1.11, 2.11, 2.12, 2022 2nd (late), 2022 3rd (late), 2022 4th, 2022 5th, 2022 6th
for
Josh Jacobs (who just put a 20 bomb on me)

Mind you, the owner trading Jacobs traded his 1st for Dez that then became Saquon the year Dez's career ended. He took Jacobs 1.1 in 2019. Preseason 2020 I traded him 2 firsts for his 1st which became Taylor. He is bailing on his 1.11 for essentially a late first and late 2nds and trading him to my rival the day before the game.

I offered him several firsts for Leveon over the years and he is STILL holding him.

This deal going down the day before the game is really irritating me.
Remember where you are - this is Thunderdome.

Oy. Same.

For me, it was Allen or Tyron Johnson. Knowing Allen would be on a snap count, I figured whichever one gets a TD would be the better start, so I picked Allen, thinking he'd be key in the red zone in his limited snaps.

Nope.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.

I think you had to play Keenan over him. Odds were he’d do better

I probably am going to lose on Keenan as well. My best alternative was Jeffrey Wilson. Saw Mostert practiced, so went Keenan.

Trading Waller back in May to my eventual playoff opponent this week.
