As it stands the Death Star team looks like this (relevant players only)
QB: Brady, Big Ben, Burrow
RB: Kamara, Zeke, Swift
WR: Davante Adams, AJ Brown, Robert Woods, Lockett
TE: Fant

My team (in the sig) was SUPPOSED to be the Death Star team this season coming off back to backs. Lost Guice going into the season, no prob, good depth, lost CMC, ok no prob, still have depth and then the injuries/covid started piling up. Dak, Sanders, Dobbins, Gurley, Perine, Dillon...I was just destroyed at RB and scrambling at QB. I was projected to go 14-0 by yahoo (10 team) but am barely squeaking into the playoffs now. Yes I know I'm carrying a lot of QBS but we have 10 IR spots this year because of covid and I would love to have some decent back up options next year in case Dak isn't 100%. Trading for one of the rookies won't be an option in my league. If CMC can come back and perform I've got a shot in the playoffs because my WRs have been carrying me but I don't love my chances.

In one of my main leagues the team that I am afraid to go against (even though my team is pretty stacked) is:

Mahomes, Kyler
Alvin, AJones, CEH
Tyreek, Evans, Julio, McLaurin, Aiyuk
TJH, Henry, Tonyan

We played each other week 12 in what a lot consider a championship preview. He beat me by 27 points on the backs of Mahomes and Hill putting up 90+

I honestly think any team with both Mahomes and Hill together have to be ranked up there as the scariest.

The Death Star team in my main league (team 1 in sig) has won three straight titles and is the top seed again this year. Here’s their team:

Mahomes (Herbert)
Cook, Kamara, Chubb (Hunt, Mattison, Murray, Edmonds)
Julio, Kupp, Cooks (Claypool, Cole, Edwards)
Kelce (Hock)

We’ve actually taken measures to reduce some of the more fluky BS in fantasy. We play double-headers every week to get a larger regular season sample size and play two-week semifinals and a two-week championship. I’m actually really proud of the fact that the #1 seed has won the belt in our league for three straight years, even though two of them have been at my expense. It make the league feel more fair, and having a juggernaut gives the other teams something to scrape and claw for. When they finally do get knocked off their perch, it’ll be that much more satisfying.
I really like this occassional doubleheader idea to beef up the standings, that's really cool. I mean, it helps gives the best rather than luckiest teams the best playoff odds (though there'll never be a perfect system for that), and it's just a fun idea.

We've all seen fluky playoff wins by "garbage" player starts. Happens every year, part of football and fantasy football. I still remember a fantasy Superbowl years ago in redraft league I ran where one team picked up every Steeler for the SB he could as they were playing one of the worst teams in NFL history. Maybe the 0-16 Lions? One of them was Kordell Stewart.

It worked! My poor buddy's "better on paper / stud team" got mauled by the Steelers guy, it was both hilarious and terrible.

P.S. Kenny Golladay, if you're reading this (lol), please come back to my team when my playoffs start in Week 15. My Death Star Squad isn't complete without you!

I'm proud to announce that my death squad team (team 2 in signature) went 13-0 this year leading, wire to wire and has won the championship. Long live the empire and death to all that rebel scum they had no chance to destroy this armed and fully operational battle station.

Going into the Super Bowl game I was pretty nervous, but ....the trade for Kamara & Diggs this year paid ...off. Lining up Irv Smith helped as well. My Super Bowl game was the best of the season.

To think ..I was ... so close to starting Mckissic over Jacobs, but went with the past historical volume.

My death star squad in my signature beat the other death star squad I posted a few weeks ago in the championship. He got HUGE games from Kamara and Mike Evans so I thought I was toast but then Adams saved me on SNF. Felt good lol
