For me personally I feel like he lacks burst, good speed on the move for his size but lacks wiggle and burst. I don't think he bad at all and I've been looking to buy him as he fairly new to the position and has so much room to grow, I'm just not sure about his burst.

Can I delete this? apparently wiggle and burst are overrated, I'm going back in my hole.

Those holes were pretty big but maybe he just needs 20 carries a game to wear a defense down

Rewatch that second TD run. The hole is massive to get him into the secondary, but watch how fast he gets past the remaining defenders into the end zone. And there were several dump off catches where he made the first guy miss. Gibson in open space is where you want the guy because of his wiggle and burst imo. He’s still not a great traditional RB, but Rivera is designing plays to get a guy out in front of him to block and get him into space where he’s dangerous.

This may belong in the gibson thread so ill post it there too, but I dont like the "holes were pretty big" argument against him or any RB for that matter. We have seen traditional RBs miss gaping holes before, its a team game and we cant discount gibsons (or any RBs) performance because he did just what he should do, then burned the rest of the defense for 2 long TDs. He doesnt have the traditonal RB moves of jukes, stutter steps, spins etc however burst is literally the last of his issues, thats his number one talent. He has good vison and definitely good power as well. He is probably never going to look or play like a traditional RB and in evaluating him people need to try and undesrstand that. He does have a nose for the Endzone though and has since college. He is a very unique player and because of this he is probably going to be very polarizing through out his career.

A guy in my main league sat him, I just don't understand, you'd have to have a stacked core to sit Brown any week.
