I'm guessing you're only looking at their 2020 season? Fant played the majority of this season through a high ankle injury he reaggravated at least twice during the season. Prior to the injury he was a significantly more efficient player which falls in line with his historically efficient rookie season.Bronco Billy wrote: ↑Tue Mar 02, 2021 3:37 pm Interesting off topic discussion on Hockenson vs Fant. Looking at advanced analytics, the difference between Stafford throwing to Hockenson and Lock throwing to Fant is not near the difference in advantage to Hockenson that one would think.
Through the first 3 games of 2020, Fant averaged 3.96 YPRR (Kittle was #2 this year with 2.94); 13.1 YPR (7th in the NFL behind Kittle).
