I know you are pretty excited about JJ, as you should be, but hes not even listed as a bolded starter on your signature team. Not sure what to make of that.

I'd put him top five in dynasty startups. I'm a bit hesitant to give him the crown JUST yet, but you might be right. I traded Waller for him straight up and feel great about it. I have him as my WR3 behind Hill and Allen, in a league where we start FIVE, with Golladay and Jeudy behind him. I love him. I think he's going to be a stud for a VERY long time.

You could really pick a number of WRs first. You didn't even mention players like Thomas (healthy), Allen, Diggs, Hopkins..

It's such a deep position, that regardless of who you pick, there's really not a significant advantage. Even more so if you play dynasty in three year windows and don't overvalue age.

He's one of, if not the only, WR who offer a positional advantage. I get the age gap, but for a contender thinking in a 2-3 year window, that is a significant consideration.

That doesn't somehow render the age gap not huge. Jefferson isn't even really in his prime yet and Adams is on the tail end of his prime.

I wouldn't say Adams is on the tail end of his prime. He could still be elite for another 4-5 years. He just turned 28 in December.

Jefferson has more trade value than Adams for obvious reasons, but Adams is the better fantasy player. The dropoff in points (25.6 > 17.1) is significant. The dropoff in trade value is, but you don't really care about that if you're winning/contending each year.

Ultimately, it just depends on how you prefer to play dynasty. I don't think there's really an advantage in having the younger player each time and more people are starting to play in three-year windows. If I'm doing a startup and I have my choice of the first WR, I'm trading down a few spots, getting assets, and then picking someone like Adams, Diggs, or Hopkins.
