At least it's cheaper than originally reported.

I mean, that 2022 pick is VERY likely a 1. I like it for both sides. In the end, the Eagles honestly probably couldnt afford (cap wise) to take on a 1 this year with their cap hell. Even though they arent as far over as the Saints, its actually harder for the Eagles to get under the cap without killing their number in future years as well.

I think that Wentz will do better than Rivers did last season. Rivers arm was dead. Wentz gets a strong o-line, run game, and defense to support him. Similar to what he had in his magical season in Philadelphia.

I'm not rushing out to trade for Colts players, but I'm a little more optimistic with the ones I have.

The 2022 2nd becomes a first if:

Wentz plays 75% of the snaps for the season

Or

Wentz plays 70% of the snaps for the season and they make the playoffs.

Seems likely to become a first.

But its fairly certain that we will be as good as last year, unlesd he getd injured and then there is no issue

I am very torn on this. I have a lot of trust in Ballard. If it turns into a 1st, it is probable the team is competitive and the pick is a late 1st. I have to think Frank Reich thinks he can fix him. I am not sold TY is coming back and we don't have another deep threat and we need a LT. Wentz will need both to have a chance.

I have a feeling Ballard is absolutely fine giving the first if Wentz reverts to a promising young QB. If he sucks again........

So if you own Wentz in a QB premium league, are you looking at this as a value-boost to sell him...or are you looking at this as the best possible scenario to get him back into your starting lineup?

What they gave up for Wentz is significantly less than what the rams gave for Stafford. Two 1sts, a 3rd, and Goff.

If reports are correct they did offer a 1st+ but the Rams came over the top with an absurdly high offer.

If Wentz doesn't work out it sucks, they lose a 2nd and a 3rd. If Stafford doesn't work out the Rams are toast for half a decade.
