I think McNichols is the passing down back and foreman would be the early down back if Henry were to go down.

I think McNichols could handle a 3 down role if Henry went down.

Im not a handcuff guy, but after losing Barkley, Chubb, then Ekeler without owning their cuff, I decided to burn a roster spot on Henry's backup, and I chose McNichols. I dont think McNichols or Foreman seize the entire role. However if I had to guess which one would seize the entire role it would be McNichols. More pertinent to my decision was my thought that in a shared role situation, I prefer the types of touches McNichols will be getting vs those of Foreman. Catches.

(I didnt own barkley chubb ekeler and henry at the same time- I acquired henry in a trade involving barkley, after barkleys injury, and prior to chubb and ekeler's injuries in an attempt to keep my contending role)

McNichols. Been getting snaps all season, and snap counts and percentages jumped after the bye. Henry is rare and I don't see Foreman stepping in and offering the same level of performances. Without Henry, I think that offense changes drastically and that favors McNichols more than Foreman. Though, it is interesting that he finally got some snaps and touches last week.

That's more of a contender/redraft perspective. After this year, Evans enters consideration. I don't think he's a lock for the top backup job, or is out of it entirely.

Foreman. The upside of justifying having previously spent a 2nd on him is simply too much to pass on.

12-team SF, PPR, TE premium, 0.25 PPCarry
1QB 2RB 2WR 1TE 1SF 4Flex
QB: Mahomes, Fields, Love
RB: Bijan, ETN, Pollard, Achane, Herbert
WR: Kupp, Hill, Metcalf, Ridley, Jeudy, D.J. M, Burks, Hollywood, Wan'Dale
TE: Kyle Pitts, Goedert

I'm guessing he means in his own rookie drafts

Certainly, I had him on my roster/IR long enough that thinking of picking him up again has me feeling nostalgic...

Well, we have our answer. This is the second thing I've read that says Foreman was moved back to the PS after Sunday's game- https://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/footb ... ice-squad/

I'm seeing he's one of the protected practice squad players. He doesn't really catch passes and he probably doesn't play special teams so that's why he's there right now. I still think in the case of a Henry injury Foreman could still get the early down work despite being sent back to the PS right now. We've seen it before where the direct backup to the starter is not necessarily active on gamedays. That said, it's not like i'm banking on that, I just happen to think it's a possibility.
