Re: Week 8
Drew Lock turning in another quality performance
Re: Week 8
Solid pace of 18/30 for 116 yards
Re: Week 8
So I was high as anyone on JT, but only have him in one league, in which I have little reason to panic.
Not super thrilled but I do think a rookie with a covid preseason, can’t judge too harshly yet.
Obviously what we want from a RB at 1.02 is immediate production, but sometimes that isn’t the case.

Good to see C. Patterson making his mark on the 4th down, Nagy is just not a good coach, nothing will change my mind on this

It's funny you bring up Gibson and I agree.wesgood87 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 2:56 pmBut would you rather cash out on potential elite now like Cook or what seems very likely like a low end RB2 WITH an amazing O-Line. I mean, if Ronald Jones can last this long and start to look good surely JT can do it.
Good to see Dolphins D and special teams doing a great job of easing in Tua, against Ramsey and Donald I feared for Tua in his first start but I've got to say that was a nice small introduction for him, hopefully see some more moving forward.
Loved seeing Dobbins get to show that he should be getting more touches.
Akers getting some more reps was nice to see even if he didn't blow it away, just good to know the coaches remembered he was there.
Now just hoping for Reagor to show some stuff.
If Gibson was behind that O-Line ...my Lord. I just don't "see" it from Taylor. No purpose in his run and just seems to run exactly where the playbook says.
One kid is supposed to be coming in as a raw athlete that needs time to develop instincts at the position.
The other while yes also a rookie, was supposedly the best prospect this side of Saquon with all the instincts built in.
We're 8 weeks in so I'm not panicked but I am disappointed.

Re: Week 8
That whole best prospect since Saquon was such rubbish, so many analysts were drooling over JT as if he was Cmac/Saquon/Zeke but there was a glaring difference and that was draft capital, I also thought his non-elite vision (not saying bad vision yet) was quite obvious to me.TD41 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 4:18 pmIt's funny you bring up Gibson and I agree.wesgood87 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 2:56 pmBut would you rather cash out on potential elite now like Cook or what seems very likely like a low end RB2 WITH an amazing O-Line. I'm not panicking on him and might even look to buy this offseason from owners who believed that beat up.
Gibson on the other hand has been a huge surprise to me, loved his potential but I really thought he'd need time, his in between he tackles running his far better than i thought it would be at this point, I'm putting him in the Herbert grouping of players I just flat out missed on.

Weird....McKinnon has 3 rushes for -1 yard and 1 TD. I feel like the TD should only count in fantasy if the yardage is in the positive

The Chargers backfield is breaking down interestingly. Kelley looks like he's gotten lapped by Jackson and leapfrogged by Pope, based on snaps/touches today. Injury, May be?

Re: Week 8
It's been more of a committee with neither consistently dominating. One of the stories I heard was that week 7 (after they'd had bye) was a sign of things to come between Jackson and Kelley, that week 7 showed Jackson would be the wingman in this backfield, because Kelley was drafted by the current regime. Instead, Jackson comes out and dominates the backfield.hoos89 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 5:06 pmKelley has been ceding touches to Jackson for weeks nowPullo Vision wrote: ↑Sun Nov 01, 2020 5:05 pm The Chargers backfield is breaking down interestingly. The really surprising thing was Pope getting touches ahead of "golden child" Kelley.
