After watching the Rams in prime time the last two weeks, I feel confident in saying the only player Cam Akers should be replacing on offense anytime soon is Jared Goff.
LOL. I was literally editing my comment as you posted that. Goff makes some seriously questionable decisions.

That's twice this year, Mooney has turned a DB inside out (Ramsey) for an easy long TD (95 yards) and Foles can't get it anywhere near him.

How long is McVay likely to pretend that M. Brown is a better pass catcher than Akers?

"Subtle lateral movement" is a really nice way of selling you on the stiffness of a bowling ball of a back

LOL. So many people around here think Football is based around Fantasy. It's the other way around. Akers clearly isn't trusted by the staff right now. Whether it's pass pro, or missing assignments, they don't. They practice all week. He is 21, and clearly not ready for that role according to a very competent coach.

Malcolm Brown running tough tonight. Never seen a rugby style scrum quite like that one. Wow.

In general I'd agree, there are just so many bad calls everyweek/everyear that make me rethink the whole "they are in the league they know better than us" mentality haha,

Sure, but McVay isn't Gase. They have meetings, practices etc. all week. They do know better, generally. We don't know what's going on, but I can assure you McVay isn't sabotaging his offense to thwart people with Akers on their Fantasy teams. I'm sure he's well aware of Akers pass catching skills, they drafted him in the 2nd round. He clearly has a reason for not playing him, and it's probably not because he's deluding himself into thinking Brown is a better pass catcher.

Did Henderson's leg do something there on the sideline?

Yeah, he got up a little gimpy. Didn't stop the game, but he looked slow to get up.

Henderson and Brown are both playing well and their O-line looks much improved. Does make you wonder why the invested their first pick of the draft into a RB at this point, but I suppose they weren't sure that Henderson would emerge and they value the RB position.

My guess is Akers is missing something right now. Either he's got a case of fumbleitis in practice or is too intent on bouncing things to the outside (which was an issue in week 1). Hard to argue with McVay's decision when they're scoring points and winning football games... but this GM is looking worse and worse.

Henderson's looked good

I just get annoyed with Brown because I have him typecast somewhere between Peyton Barber and Marion the Barbarian.. lol
