I’ve been there in the past and felt like a loser because that’s what I was. Hopefully he learns from it, takes it seriously, and considers sobriety. I don’t recall how the league handles it but ideally the Broncos and/or NFL punish as well as offer him helpful resources to subsidize whatever he gets court orders.

I wonder where he was “out drinking” and if during that time when he got too drunk to drive, was he properly social distanced from people who could pass the virus to him and his team?

Doesn't have to. NFLPA has a program/policy in place to provide rides to players.
Or at least they did, I'm not sure if they currently have it or if its been changed due to COVID.
