I sold him last season trying to capitalize on the volume and great end of season schedule. Still don't love the returns but I'll take 70% value for a contender.

These points were interesting regarding Damien Williams (thanks to Rotoworld)-
-He worked with offensive coordinator Bill Lazor in Miami and knows head coach Matt Nagy's offensive scheme from their days together in Kansas City.
-A mere four running backs last season had more total opportunity (rushing attempts plus targets). J.D. McKissic, amazingly, was the only back to run more pass routes than Monty in 2020.

TY Hilton is back with the Colts. I’ll definitely start him when he plays at the Texans.

Tevin Coleman follows Saleh/Lafleur to the Jets

He was awful last year but not the worst gamble that the Jets pull a "Dolphins" from last year and decide they have too many holes to take an RB in the first three rounds

It was still a great class but fair to say people counted their chickens way too early on several of those WRs (Sammy, Kelvin, Mathews, even to some extent Cooks). Something that needs to be remembered when counting this year's class as some kind of great one as if guys like Higgins are already locks to be long term studs.
12 Team FFPC TE Premium
QB: Herbert, Brady
RB: Barkley, Mixon, Jav Williams, Pierce, Drake
WR: Jefferson, AJ Brown, Metcalf, Hopkins, Peoples-Jones

No. Cooks has had 5 1k seasons out of 7 whatever you define as a hit cooks should fit that description and doesn’t belong in the same category as the other 3.

Nice catch. Wish I'd noticed, but was enjoying myself on the can. Maybe the thought was Williams flourished in a Reid offense and Nagy is a Reid disciple?

Might as well put obj in there too he’s only got 5 1k seasons as well. Put ARob and Davante Adams there as well 5 combined 1k seasons.

I think he was trying to say Cooks hasn't been a difference maker and hasn't carried the value you may have thought he would after his rookie season.

The 2009 WR draft class was also very similar. It looked legendary after 2 years but unfortunately injuries & inconsistency had it's way:

Crabtree
Maclin
Nicks
Harvin
Britt

And then of course DHB, Massoquoi, Robiskie, Johnny Knox. Although Mike Wallace came from the same class & he had some good years.

RBs flashed & fizzled as well unless your name was LeSean McCoy. Who remembers knowshon, beanie, shonn greene, donald brown?

After his rookie season? He had 550 yards and 3 TDs as a rookie receiving so I'm not sure what value bump he received after that.

Death, taxes, and horrible Brandin Cooks takes are the 3 certainties in life.

I've given up on the disrespect of Cooks round these parts.

One day he will retire and everyone will say "I told you he wasn't ever that good/worth much"
