Travis Fulgham

I see there's a topic on Chase Claypool rightfully so after what we saw yesterday. I didn't see one on the guy who also had a good game on the opposite side of the ball.

his last 2 games

2/3 57 yards TD
10/13 152 yards TD

Despite playing only 2 games this year he is the Eagles leading receiver. If you're in really deep leagues he is a must add.

What does everyone think about him though?

The stats and context would imply he's a flash in the pan but honestly, he looks really good out there. He was tearing the steelers up, both inside and outside and making tough contested catches all throughout the game against multiple corners. He really does look somewhat like a Michael Thomas-lite out there.

The Eagles WR problems aren't going away anytime soon and the only WR of consequence who's coming back soon is Jalen Reagor and Geodert. Ertz looks washed and the rest of the pass catchers don't seem to be making a dent. It's possible Fulgham takes over the WR2 role (or even WR1 as Reagor continues to get acclimated) going forward through the year. For my WR needy teams, I am looking to spend a decent amount of my remaining FAAB on him. Thankfully already picked him up in a couple of leagues already

He’s what everyone expected/wanted JJAW to be.

There's opportunity there and he's running away with it. Reagor is out, Ertz hasn't been effective, and Alshon isn't a factor. Not sure if it's because there's really no competition or he's a legitimate threat, but the opportunity to keep producing ROS is there.

He was looking like Mike Evans out there. Crazy, he kept leaving DBs in the dust, outmuscling DBs, high points, sharp routes. I'm not jumping to conclusions off one game but I'll sure open the wallet for some blind bidding.

Fulgham was a deep sleeper in last year's class. Most people bailed on him after he got cut by the Lions after 1 year.. but he looked really good in all phases of the game vs a strong PIT defense.

I don't think he'll beat out Reagor long term, but he could easily be the Eagles WR2 for years to come -- and that offense has been very pass heavy during Pederson's tenure there.

Adding where I can. I think Reagor will be the man, and Alshon may still surprise, but Fugham should be the WR2 at some point.

I watched every target he recieved yesterday, and as much as I hope he is the real deal, since I have him stashed in one league, I definitely don’t think he looked like Evans or one of those elite big body WRs. But, that’s fine - he’s a 6th round guy who was a cheap/free stash so if he can just maintain ANY sort of relevance in the NFL, that’s a win.

He had that one super ugly bobbling body catch but the rest of his catches showed some seemingly strong and sure mits. Not a crazy leaper, but he was aggressive at the catch point. Not a burner, but fast enough given his size.

He reminds me of Alshon from 2-3 years ago (not the elite Alshon we saw for about 18 months so long ago, but not the dead-WR-walking Alshon that probably exists now). Latter-day Dez would be another comp.

As some have said, even if Reagor is the truth, there is room for Fulgham to be the WR2 in Philly. JJAW appears to be a surefire bust, and I don’t expect DJAX or Alshon to be there in 2021.

Yeah, he was the back of the roster guy I had everywhere last year. I held on for quite a while too until the roster space was just too valuable in comparison, so I started cutting him across leagues. It sucks when 'your guys' make it AFTER you give up. (I rostered so much Waller for way longer than normal back in the day, but sadly not long enough)

Had him on my taxi squad all of last season. Dropped him to make room for the next group of rookies. Seems like he can play, was making contested catches all over the field. Looked like what I was expecting when he was with the Lions.

Just got offered a Joshua Kelley for Fulgham after picking Fulgham up off the waiver wire last week. I was initially tempted but all of the fumbles combined with that muddled backfield. I’m thinking about countering for Mattison.

How much of a $200 budget would everyone bid?

I'm bidding about half of mine. It's getting to the point in the season where there really aren't going to be many more surprises in my leagues.
