Re: Travis Fulgham
WR3 for the foreseeable future. DJax will be a decoy and I have no faith in Alshon coming back.
Re: Travis Fulgham
Has he become a must-start at this point? I picked him up on a lark after week 5 for team 1 in my sig, but now he’s looking like the real deal. I’m pretty loaded at WR: Godwin, Golladay, Keenan and Woods are my primary starters with Crowder filling in (more frequently than I’d hoped) for injuries and bye weeks. Do I move Fulgham into my starting lineup or just move him ahead of Crowder as my top bench option? If I start him, who do I bench?
Both are 12-team 1QB PPR dynasties

Couldn't field a single offer last week after his huge game
Today, got 3 offers but no one is giving more than a single 3rd (in a 16-team league, so not a very attractive pick even with the deep IDP requirements
At this point I'm holding until I can get a 2nd, or even a 3rd plus an additional 3rd

I dont think you can blame anyone for not wanting to pay a second. Raegor, Jackson, Alshon and Goedert are not on the field and Ertz is being double teamed constantly. If everyone was healthy his production is likely to fall off a cliff
If he maintains scoring once the bigger names comes back from injury you will be able to move him perhaps but no one is rushing into buying this guy yet.

Re: Travis Fulgham
It will be interesting to see how the Eagles divvy up the snaps once Reagor, DJax and Alshon are back. DJax will almost assuredly will be a part-time player ~50 percent of the snaps in hopes of keeping him healthy. That’s what they did week 1. Alshon likely won’t return to a full workload either. Reagor should be up over 80 percent pretty quickly.
For a team that loves 12 personnel, that’s a tough balancing act. Fulgham can keep the job as long as he continues balling out, and the Eagles can slow play Alshon and DJax back into the lineup, but they’re going to play significant snaps.

Re: Travis Fulgham
Not really. It's been 2 games and everybody is out. He was worthless 2 games ago. Guys can come in a produce for a few games, and then become irrelevant again. It happens. I don't think he should be worth a 2nd just yet. I certainly wouldn't pay it. If you can get it, great. Really depends if the production is what you want. If you are a rebuilder, you don't. Also there is no guarantee he doesn't put up a 3 for 23 type line the next couple of games. There is no guaranteed production moving forward. The Godwin Complex wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 6:22 pmIf he isnt worth a 2nd now....what would he have to produce to increase in value? I honestly think its wishful thinking to believe the ghosts of Alshon Jeffery and DJax are gonna mean much to the Eagles. Even when they get back I think Fulgham is gonna see plenty of tough catches if for nothing else than to keep the porcelain twins off IR.

Jackson and Alshon are old or just way past their peak. Goedert, Reagor and Ertz will be involved, though there are rumors that Ertz may be dealt. Can't forget Sanders involvement in the passing game.
Theoretically, there is a role for him in the offense if he continues to play well. The target share won't be as high, but the production could still be a solid floor.
Selling for a 2 is smart. Even if he keeps producing, he'll just be one of those players whose value never catches up to his production.
Re: Travis Fulgham
I’m not saying Fulgham will be as good as Thielen, but it took awhile for his value to increase. In my league, he was cut at the end of his breakout season because the manager didn’t believe. He was then part of the rookie/FA draft and went in the third round despite a buzzy camp.Cameron Giles wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 4:40 amLong-term:ItsHandsomeDave wrote: ↑Tue Oct 20, 2020 6:49 pm I dont think you can blame anyone for not wanting to pay a second. Fulgham is interesting enough, but he couldn't hold a candle to prime Alshon. If Alshon ever gets healthy, he will absolutely be taking snaps and targets from Fulgham.

Re: Travis Fulgham
I get that people are excited about Fulgham and that they want their hot waiver wire pick to become something but let's not get too far removed from reality here. He's had two games of meaningful production, with his only competition at WR being John Hightower and Greg Ward. I know as dynasty owners we look at older players and like to dismiss them but there is a reason that some of these guys continue to get work year on year. Jackson and Jeffrey combine for 4 pro bowl appearances and nearly 17,000 career receiving yards. A coaching staff that is trying to turn around their season in a wide open (and frankly bad) division is likely to and would be very justified in trusting proven veterans.
That isn't to say that Fulgham shouldn't have a role going forward, as I think he has shown more than enough over the last few weeks to justify getting some looks going forward but just have a little perspective outside of the dynasty bubble we all live in.
