I know he was supposed to be dropped back to the Practice squad after this week.. but I wonder if he played himself onto the roster.

Feels like as good of a D-Henry replacement as they're going to get out of the FA market.

Jordan Wilkins was discussed in one of these sleeper threads. With Taylor struggling, he was a decent free add.

He’s literally the perfect backup to Henry because they play the same way.

I picked him up a few weeks ago as a JT owner. I've been watching Wilkins for a few years now. He isn't anything special, but with JT failing to take over that backfield I figured I needed the insurance.

He's done, and you should delete him from your brain asap.

It’s a contract/salary league, so there’s something to be said if you already have the player rostered. Especially when it’s the minimum....

Had picked up Isaiah Coulter last week in hopes Fuller or another WR got traded. Dumped him today and picked up Dante Pettis, who seems to have open road in front of him for the #3/4 WR role if he can regain some of that rookie form

Beat reporters were complimentary to the shape he got himself in this season, but then the Titans had McNichols over him last week (and McNichols actually looked good as well). He is a power runner just like Henry. Not sure they want a much worse version of Henry to spell him on passing downs.
little late to this thread but yea... i held Foreman since his rookie year with hopes he'd get a shot. unfortunately injuries really derailed his career. Loved his talent but i've given up since. Would love to see him finally get a shot as an NFL fan, as a fantasy owner though i'd be annoyed if he finally broke out after giving him all the chances in the world and cutting him lol

Cam Sims having a decent day in Washington. No one else besides McLaurin, so was why not.

Denver finally seems to have figured out how to maximize their WR corps, moving Jeudy outside and Hamler to the slot. Go get Hamler.

Fwiw, I actually watched Foreman and totally changed my mind. I think he still has some juice. I went and picked him up as a potential Henry handcuff. I was astonished by his progress from the achilles injury.

Rodney Smith, RB, Carolina
5'10" 211
4.44 40
Injured towards the end of his last college season, missed East-West game, no combine or pro day

McCaffrey injured again, out week 11 with no known return
Bonnafon to season ending IR after getting injured a 2nd time
M Davis- uninspiring the last few weeks, injured finger and missed several plays week 10

Has familiarity with the scheme after the team targeted him after the draft, spent the offseason on the PS. Called up to the active roster over alternatives after Bonnafon injury. Injuries give potential short term opportunities, including Detroit this week, Denver week 14 and GB week 15. Beyond this year, Davis is a UDFA and Bonnafon an ERFA, both after this season.

If Smith can seize the short term opportunity, he could have the inside track to a bellcow back role next year.

I wouldn't hold my breath. I'm assuming you meant on a different team but correct me if I'm wrong, is that not incredibly rare? I feel like he would have to go absolutely nuts to get that role on another team, and he's def not beating out McCaffrey in Carolina. Not a terrible stash, but I think his upside is a solid handcuff to McCaffrey not a bellcow
