Do the Chiefs have the cap room for that? I'm pretty sure they can only afford Bell because he's signing for the vet min thanks to the Jets front office being dumb.
Rams have basically proven that the salary cap is a myth.
LOL, no doubt. Leveon Bell being in KC for 3 years is highly doubtful, and being ahead of CEH that entire, time, even less likely. He's about to be 29, and hasn't looked good in years. I'd imagine they get Damien Williams back next year. They never replaced him until now. The Chiefs RB's outside of CEH were practice squad level. Bell is a great move due to cost. Chiefs RB room is extremely cheap, and I expect that to continue. OL, WR, Mahomes and D will eat up the cap before RB, by the looks of it.
Masterful roster construction.

Pretty much. Rookie on a cheap deal, and vets making close to the minimum. Bell is a great add for the price, and a 1 year window to add some much needed, cheap depth/upgrade to that spot. Let's not forget CEH is a rookie, and the "rookie wall" can be a real thing. Considering the Chiefs plan to go to the SB, that's more added games on top of the 16 CEH would have to play. It's a very smart move for real football. As a Raiders fan, I am cursing the Jets right now.

My thinking is that I held him when his value is nothing, I'd want to try and maximize value while his value is at his perceived highest (i think Bell is done).

I'm trying to move him to upgrade but I've only gotten one offer: Give Bell, Marquise Brown, and Darnold for Aaron Rodgers and Melvin Gordon.

Pick wise straight up, the best I've gotten is a mid 2nd.

KC plays the JETS on 11/1. After that, I'll sell him for a ton to someone.

I think Bell is going to do really well in this offense. He was never a burner. He picks and prods and makes subtle moves to find every inch of every hole. Now, holes are larger, blocking is better. Great on all downs. He’s played on the worst team in football-Now he plays for the best team. Most apply the Adam Gase rule as well. I wouldn’t sell for the 2, but you can probably buy him for a high 2. There’s a chance he gets a Damien Williams type extension if he is well suited this offseason, extending his value beyond his age 28 season. Hold hold hold

So Bell is going to magically fix KC's OL that hasn't been opening holes for the RBs who have already been there?

no he's not going to magically fix it, but if your telling me you think Bell would of had a better rushing season with the Jets than KC, I think this convo is done.

^^^

Only caveat is if CEH gets hurt. Bell had over 300 touches with the Jets last year and was RB15 in total points for the fantasy season. I expect him to be more efficient with his touches, but I doubt he gets enough touches to end up with more PPG as long as CEH is healthy.

KC's O-Line is not great this year, but the team overall is still incredible which means his touches are absolutely worth way more than they were in New York.

I'll take 8-10 Chief RB touches over 15-16 Jet RB touches all day long. And those numbers are most likely floor numbers.

I bet he has some games with 12-15 carries, and 3-5 catches as well.

He averaged almost 21 touches per game with the Jets last year. I dont think he's going to get as many fantasy points on 8-10 touches per game.
