1qb league, dude has Mahomes and Darnold. Finds out today that Pats/Chiefs is postponed, and wants to use Darnold as an alternate (Darnold played Thursday night and had a really good game).

Should he be allowed to use Darnold as his starter after seeing him put up a good number, or be forced to start a waiver wire qb (mullens looking like his best bet)?

Yep. It's a big old TS, that's the way the cookie crumbles. He either finds a WW QB or he starts Mahomes and hopes he plays.

This is just dumb. Absolutely NOT be permitted to use Darnold. He has to go the waiver wire. You should now go ahead and drop some roster clogger and pick up Mullins.
