Go get Irv Smith before they officially cut Kyle Rudolph.

Conklin is behind Irv Smith, but if you have the roster space, have at it.jjleurquin wrote: ↑Sat Feb 20, 2021 9:51 pmOr you could get the guy who out-targeted him 21-20 the last 4 weeks of the season while Rudolph was out - Tyler Conklin. You could probably even pick him up off waivers.

You think it'll make no difference for Irv Smith? That's an interesting take. I think it'll mean more snaps for him. He was in on about 50% last year, with Rudolph in on 50%, and Conklin on 40%. I think the Vikings will continue with the TE heavy scheme, meaning more snaps for Smith & Conklin.Orenthal Shames wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 8:04 amThis is my stance. I think it will make zero difference to the Irv Smith owner in terms of value
Had you approached him a week ago, it’s highly unlikely that the owner was willing to sell for any less than they would be today just because Kyle Rudolf was on the roster
Irv’s value might go up slightly. But I think most were expecting Rudolf to be gone anyway, and valued Irv accordingly
Re: Disappointing young TEs
Oh right, I agree. We all knew that Rudolph was most likely gone. Anyone holding Irv Smith would have been waiting for this day.Prison_Mike wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 8:21 amNo, I should have been more specificPac_Eddy wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 8:11 amYou think it'll make no difference for Irv Smith? Re: Disappointing young TEs
Agreed, I've been fielding crap offers for him all offseason because I think most assumed Rudolph would go. Nothing to see here in terms of his value changing for me. I actually had a league mate text last night saying he assumed there was no way he could get Smith now. I told him that he had just as much chance as he did last week when he offered me a 2023 4th for him!tresskid84 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 9:36 am Yeah, price was already baked in for me in my own rankings. Right. The true window to buy him would've been last season
