For a contender? I probably lean Robinson. For long term, probably Kelley purely off staying power. Both have looked good with their opportunities thus far. If ekeler goes down for some reason, Kelley for short and long term.

Yeah, for sure. Kelley and Ekeler can't both get over 20 touches every week. Ekeler is still the guy in LA's backfield. Kelley will be capped as long as Ekeler is there. Robinson should see more touches this year, as long as all the players mentioned stay healthy. Robinson is also averaging almost a yard and a half more right now, too.

Welp, that was....not as good as we all hoped. CBS had them as their start of the week, which was definitely over ambitious at this stage in the season. I guess it was assumed by all that the McCaffery-less Panthers would be easy prey for the bolts and Kelley would see a lot of 2nd half touches as they ran down the clock on a blow out win?

Me, I think Arob's overrated, though much of that stems from my disgust with the Bears organization.
Tough to be good in fantasy when you let your disgust with an organization cloud your judgement this badly. You can have varying opinions on ARob, but undervalued is pretty crazy to me.

You can be great in fantasy football without any Bears receivers, that's for sure!

I see your point, but I'll continue to fade ARob and the Bears myself (despite my bizarre and unhealthy interest in Miller and Mooney) - it's up and down there enough at multiple levels to where I'd rather not deal with it if I have other options.

Maybe Foles changes things, we'll see!

BOT, glad to see the Kelley fandom came down to earth for a week - Ekeler's still a stud!

I think the thinking was more "the Panthers run defense is the red carpet of run defenses" right now. Perhaps if Anthony Lynn had taken a cursory look at how the Raiders and Bucs both put the Panthers in the trash via the run, he might have won the game. Alas.

Inexplicably, the Chargers dialled up 49 pass attempts to 20 rushing attempts, in a game they were only down 1 score in for the majority of their possessions. It was woeful thinking. Both Ekeler and Kelley were hitting 5 yards per carry on their rushes. This one goes in the "thankyou for not coaching" category; if you want to beat the Panthers then run it down their throat. The Chargers deserved this loss.

Keenan Allen had 19 targets. 19 targets! Not even Rivers targeted him like this.

If he can get through a game without coughing the ball up it could skyrocket.

He was already getting 20 touches a game, so I don't see any increase. He's only going to be the guy as long as Ekeler is out, and he looked downright bad yesterday. I think Jackson gets the bump in touches.

Didn't like his tape, week 1 was some show but it was just that - one game. I'm excited Jackson is relevant again. Maybe I can flip him for a pick.

Exactly what happened. Kelley's sell high window has likely closed.

What are the thoughts now on Kelley? Unfortunately I didn't get to see much of the game vs the Saints. Not a great stat line. I'm thinking of moving him out now as I have a good offer, but I need RB depth. I thought he would do better with the opportunity.

Disappointed.
He did not seize the opportunity but as long as he stays healthy I think more volume/opportunity will appear for him this season.

I'd take an early-mid 2nd for him right now. Honestly might consider any second given that Justin Jackson looked better and seemed to take over a higher percentage of snaps as the game went (he was the one they had in the game at the end).
