the average is about right though!
is rodgers a sell high? (he'll probably be a sell higher after the falcons)
Not really. I can't see much changing unless he gets traded. I think he said himself he won't be a good fantasy player. LOL. TBH, OBJ hasn't been elite for a long time. His best years are behind him, IMO. I'm not willing to pay the price, and invest in that passing offense.SteveMaddensShoes wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 10:35 amDoes anyone think OBJ is a buy low? Seems like henis still getting open at will or drawing pass interference penalties. Baker couldn't hit the broad side of a barn though. Do we buy the talent in dynasty or do we sell low on this dumpster fire of a situation for OBJ that may not change for awhile?
I think the price is really low though. I coukd see the situation changing within a year or two. I wouldnt be surprised if you could get him for a Ruggs type player tbh.FantasyFreak wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 11:00 amNot really. I can't see much changing unless he gets traded. I think he's one of those guys where it really just depends on the OBJ owners in your league. For some people he still carries a lot of name value alone. So his value likely varies a lot from person to person. Me personally, I still value him pretty highly... but so does the owner in my league lol.SteveMaddensShoes wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 11:32 amI think the price is really low though. I guess i still think he is uncoverable if he wants to be so the talent is there and the situation isnt. Kind of a deandre swift situation. We aremt paying for him this year but maybe next year or the next.
I'd rather have Ruggs in Dynasty, TBH. He's about to turn 28, so we're talking buying for 29, 30? I'd rather see what Ruggs has, in a few years when he's acclimated and improved his route running, I think he has a very high ceiling. As I said, I think OBJ's best days for FF are behind him.SteveMaddensShoes wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 11:32 amI think the price is really low though. I don't have DJM ahead of Evans, though he could make the move within a couple years. I think DJM is underrated but Evans is as well(and always has been and probably always will be) I don't think you should have to add. If your partner is contending he might just take the trade straight across.Life of Pablo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 12:03 pmWould you guys consider DJ Moore to be a good (relative) buy low, both for this year and dynasty? I feel like there's a small window open with his kinda slow start this year, at least with the owner in my league. Have been thinking of offering Evans + Gurley for him.
On that note, any other top RB/WR targets I can go after with an Evans/Gurley package?Love both of them, but I feel like I don't need either of them and they have more name value than actual production at this point. Maybe I'm just worried though. They feel like sell high's, for my team at least.
Absolutely, DJM has still commanded 26% of the teams targets. It hasn't translated to fantasy scoring yet this season, but i think Teddy is just a short term obstacle. If he's at any discount, hes worth a buy.Life of Pablo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 12:03 pmWould you guys consider DJ Moore to be a good (relative) buy low, both for this year and dynasty? DJM is worth kicking the tires on, but I doubt most owners have lowered their ask since August.Life of Pablo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 12:03 pmWould you guys consider DJ Moore to be a good (relative) buy low, both for this year and dynasty? He's not like the other 2. He has to do a lot more before he's as safe a buy as Ridley, and even Johnson. Not sure why McLaurin would be a buy low. He's shown a really solid floor with terrible QB play. Every one of my leagues, the person who rosters him (myself included), knows what they have in him. I could see Fuller owners being fed up, for sure. They might just be passing off the headache, I fear, though.Pullo Vision wrote: ↑Wed Sep 30, 2020 3:43 pmTo me, this is the "buy high" time- players exceeding expectations so you get them before their value goes too high or they become unavailable. Justin Jefferson is an example, to cut off more big games. Maybe Diontae Johnson. Calvin Ridley is a buy now before he becomes completely unavailable. James Robinson could be in this group, too.
The buy low time will be no earlier than 2 more weeks, after we have info on schemes/roles and whatnot, and hopes have deflated and reality sets in. That's when you pounce on D Swift, Wentz/Reagor, McLaurin, Watson/Fuller.
