I just bought Jonathan Taylor for my 2021 1st, which is likley going to be 1.12-1.14. I love reactionary owners
Damn, thats a good one.

A trade went down in my league that i think many are going to say is a buy low on Barkley but i dont agree

It was Barkley for JT and Higbee

Im willing to be patient with JT and i think he could have around the same value as barkley eventually but i think many are going to disagree and say this was a steal for Barkley.

Wow that is nuts...he's RB16 right now! Even if we were seeing his actual ceiling right now, a 21 year old perennial mid-high RB2 is worth significantly more than a late first (or essentially an early 2nd in a 12 teamer).

Two buy low wrs
Slayton- just came off a murderers row of defenses to open the year and still hasn't been completely missing. Still looks legit imo
Preston Williams- historically acl injuries take up to a year to really get back from ala cooks sophomore year, I'm expecting improvement as we move away from it

I'm gonna go with another Miami WR- Isaiah Ford. It's looking like it's a very serious competition for the 2nd WR spot between Ford and Williams and Ford appears to have an edge right now, I think the perceived value is much lower on Ford than Williams though so Ford is the pick for me.

Awful in view of his age to give up on him for a late 1st

Just cut some roster fodder to pick Ford up for free in one league.

This robinson hype is getting a bit nuts. Im seeing people on reddit saying that there is no way they'd take swift for robinson, like a lot of people.

It's werk 5 and yes he's looked awesome but there is a very long lists of undrafted guys having success for a 3, 5, 10 or even entire an entire season then selling cars 12 months later.

You can't dismiss him either he is passing the eye test he looks explosive and makes the most out of every carry but draft pedigree matter. It really does. And not just because "oh he'll get more oppurtunities" I doubt the numbers back that myth up. Most coaches are happy to play the hot hand. The reason it matters is because despite the odd bust or round 6 guy who ends up having a long productive career it is NOT the norm, we just focus on them

These NFL scouts know what they're doing for the most part. They spend +10 hours a day watching film and know more about football than 99% of us combined.
I'm curious as to who makes up the very long list of undrafted guys that had success for 10 games or a full season and were out of the league 12 months later.

I am big on Swift and wouldn't even consider moving him for Robinson but dynasty rankings change wildly from year to year and we are already 35% into this year's fantasy regular season. Right now is honestly the best time to buy big movers because those moves are going to be magnified 10x once everyone sits down and starts drafting next offseason. The dynasty community is generally slow to make major moves until the offseason even when they are very predictable.

FWIW I would disagree with the last statement a bit. I worked for a major college organization (not NFL, but think one of the ones that sends a ton of guys to the NFL) and scouting is a very inexact science. Most scouts aren't doing much different than the twitter/message board guys that are very serious in breaking down film, they just took a path where they get paid for it.

Completely agree. Now is the time to strike to get guys like McLaurin and Jacobs from last year.

Yeah depends on price. If you can get QB1 value, maybe consider selling. Otherwise, hold

Is Carson Wentz a buy low or washed? Last year I thought he looked good in a bad team but from what I've heard he's looked rubbish this year.

I've been looking at Ford, liked him in the draft before he fell to very late. Preston blowing up today didn't help though.

Alright just sent a late 1st (I'm champ from last year) and late 2nd for Wentz in my 2 QB league, hope Wentz turns this around.
