I don't believe I've ever said he can't produce. I think it is unlikely over a season he continues to produce.

There is a lot of gloating from people who haven't actually addressed many of the concerns UDFA's face. He is a torn ACL away from never being a relevant player in the NFL again. Barkley is still a top 10 player in start ups. And there is a range from Barkley to Robinson of course. If say, Akers is out for the season, he will face pressure from Henderson and possibly someone else they draft in the 2nd to 4th range. But he will be given plenty of rope to try again.

It's just so unlikely for Robinson to be given a 2nd chance. Which seems unfair to me but just how it normally goes.

If you are using him in your starting lineups due to injury to contend that does give him a boost in value. But again, guys you draft in the 1st round don't face that possibility of being immediately irrelevant when faced with injury.

If I had a 2nd rounder for every unknown RB that showed promise my team would probably be loaded with talent by now.

Man, I only have Robinson in one league. EVERYONE wants a piece of him but no one is willing to pay anything. Best offer received was a mid-late 2nd. Such is the life of a UDFA waiver add I suppose.

Yeah, when I got Lindsay off Week 1 waivers his rookie season was very similar. Nobody wants to buy at a fair price, and the owner very often is happy to hold anyway.

And no, I don't think Gordon is worlds better than Lindsay this year either, but early injury will do a whole lot to mess up a backfield, sometimes for the season. Life (and fantasy football) isn't fair!

Yea, I’m perfectly fine holding (even if it messes up my potential points in my 1.01 pursuit). Sent an offer of Mims + Robinson for Chark and ‘21 2nd (early) + Robinson for ‘21 1st (early) and neither owner bit.

I would have definitely considered that one - let me in your league!

Good luck with your UDFA gem - like I said earlier, I'm really beating myself up on missing out on him. Liked what I saw last night.

Neither of those trades are great offers. Chark is a top 15 WR and despite Robinson producing he is nowhere near that caliber player. Mims has somehow torn both his hammies prior to playing a snap and if he had more those would be torn too.

The second trade, while better, is still light. An early 1st means the team is tanking. Why would he want Robinson as a rebuilding team? Usually it takes a couple late 1sts to move into the early round 1...so even for a competitor it's light.

They’re ok. Counters to 1) Mims + Shenault + Robinson for Chark; and 2) Robinson for a projected later 2nd.

I dont like the counters. Id ask for that late 2nd plus a 2022 2nd at this point. The Arob counter is close to good. I jusy think that Mims and Shenault would be close to late 1sts in a normal year and makes it a bit much if its just in a vacuum. Although we might as well just right off Mims now since all NY Jets will forever be awful

To be clear, I own James Robinson and I did not counter with Shenault + Mims + Robinson. That’s what the other owner asked for for Chark.

I did get confused. I dont know what to think of Chark. Ive heard he is worth a mid to late 1st and a buddy that plays alot of fantasy says he willl be top 5 end of year. Not so sure about that one. Tricky spot. Change out Chark and call it say, Jeudy, and i think id give up that package to get him. Just depends on where you value Chark and if you can flip him for more than 3 early 2nds(Mims, Shenault, Robinson)

Terrell Davis seemed pretty good. Just saying. He held his value pretty well. He was a 6th rounder. I'm not saying there is not a price but unless you can afford to part with him then why would you? And what exactly is fair value for him at this point? He puts up another 30 pointer then a first is certainly not out of the realm of possibility. Scared money never wins. His receptions and yards in ppr is a game-changer if he keeps that up. 6-for 83. I can see both sides but for me, at this point, it's going to take a pretty sweet deal to get me to move off of him and if he flops he flops. I'm playing with house money at this point. I say this and I'll probably trade him next week. LOL... I traded Hines and Robby Anderson for Arob this Wednesday and traded Mostert for N'keal Harry and Darrin Fells the next day but that is on a rebuilding roster. It's a fun discussion. I have Robinson on a playoff-caliber team barring injuries so maybe that is affecting my judgement.
