We're on to Week 3
Re: We're on to Week 3
What's happening in Detroit is a travesty for Swift right now. You took this guy in the second round, second overall RB... 1 Touch? They need to see what they have in Swift. AP has played better than expected but long term I just don't see why he's getting this many touches . Swift can catch (that terrible drop aside) so at least he has the ceiling potential if he get used more. This reminds me of early Monty when CHI was giving Mike Davis a boatload of touches after taking Monty in the 3rd, only difference is Swift has a lot more talent.
At this point I don't know if a regime change helps; the Lions new coach might not see Swift as "his guy". I still like Swift a lot as a buy low and a hold but the Lions are a mess.

^That Detroit staff is unemployed if they don’t do some winning this year. There must be something they see or don’t see in Swift at the moment. I’m sure the millisecond he gives them a better chance to win, he’ll be in there.

I have a question for everyone here......did Jacksonville meet or reach out to Adrian Peterson?Ray Finkle wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 9:54 am ^That Detroit staff is unemployed if they don’t do some winning this year. Just food for thought.
Maybe they are tanking?

Re: We're on to Week 3
Everyone needs to relax about Swift. Cant take it game by game. Week 2 he had 60 yards in receptions but no one was on here talking about that being a positive. Its his third game, a game they needed to win, a game that was close the entire time. Of course they were going to roll with AP instead of using what they see right now as only their 3rd down back. Numerous rookies have had roles like this in the beginning and gone on to have great fantasy careers. I understand why Patricia and the Lions dont install confidence in everyone but people need to relax.

Re: We're on to Week 3
Normally, it should tell you something about both Swift and AP that a staff coaching for their lives is feeding AP the rock.Ray Finkle wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 9:54 am ^That Detroit staff is unemployed if they don’t do some winning this year. But this is Matt Patricia we're talking about so who knows.
Detroit is RB Hell. Tried warning everybody.
Re: We're on to Week 3
Ehhhh i think its more that right now they have a specific role for Swift and this being a close game they didnt use him. Patricia is an idiot but that game was close and its apparent right now they only see Swift as their pass catching back. He had a good game the week before playing catch up, that shouldnt be forgotten about either. We will see.Lord_Varys wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 1:23 pmNormally, it should tell you something about both Swift and AP that a staff coaching for their lives is feeding AP the rock.Ray Finkle wrote: ↑Mon Sep 28, 2020 9:54 am ^That Detroit staff is unemployed if they don’t do some winning this year. Re: We're on to Week 3
Thought Dobbins did well to get the 6 yards he did on that late hand-off, hopefully see more of him today
Re: We're on to Week 3
CEH does a nice job of using his blockers. Many rookies can't help but outrun them.
Not all that counts can be counted. Not all that can be counted counts.
Re: We're on to Week 3
He also had a great second effort after getting hit to turn a 2 yard gain into 5. Still getting stuffed near the goal line but nice to see him display that strength

Marquis Brown is an annoying player to have in your lineup.
Re: We're on to Week 3
Mahomes is so good. His ability to convert on 3rd down is exceptional. Amazing scrambling and pinpoint throws on broken plays

I’ve been noticing that, and yes the emphasis is annoying. Admittedly I didn’t know the H was silent and I’m a KC fan.
