I don't think signing a declining back is going to help. Dion Lewis can handle the pass catching and Gallman seems like he can handle the two down role. I just can't see signing another back for 4 or 5 million is going to help. It seems like the Giants have not lost that much confidence in Gettleman yet but I see your point. Carolina could be an option but again why? I don't see them contending. San Fran seems like a front runner on paper and of course there is so many back channel stuff we don't know about. I think Freeman is going to have to come down more than he wants too.

Apparently, they aren't packing it in yet and think they can still win the division. Oddly it isn't a crazy thought.

Probably the best fit for him. He gets a full year as "starter". Just don't see the giants as the contender he had hoped. Also expect him to continue on the 1.5ypc that Barkley had posted so far. Maybe a last sell window for anyone who hung on?

same here, been holding in my dynasty. The hard part is gonna be finding a victim to trade with. Best case scenario for me would be getting a 3rd for him...or trading him and a 3rd for a 2nd.

Yup, ultimately he's older, injury prone, and didn't look good last we saw. But for some reason I see a lotta people expecting a locked in flex who could push to be an rb2.

I just hope I can use him on bye weeks or sell for a 3rd or better. I'm not optimistic either will happen though

The agreement I heard was up to 3 million.

The key part is UP too. It feels like Freeman came way down. I guess he is thinking he can start and earn a bigger contract next season. I don't see it at his position, age and injury history but best of luck to Mr. Freeman.
