Re: Chase "MAPLETRON" Claypool
The man is good. That offense may be tricky to predict week to week with the weapons they have. I still think Diontae is their best WR.
I'm seeing more and more reason why juju moves on.

Re: Chase "MAPLETRON" Claypool
I think he compares to Evans closely. Glad he fell to the third of a rookie draft. I have him in a few spots, but I am kicking myself for not going after him harder. Still he has 3 other good receivers on the team to compete with for touches

Re: Chase "MAPLETRON" Claypool
I wish he would've converted to tight end. I would have had him ranked much higher in rookie drafts and he could actually get on the field over that bum Eric Ebron!

Limas Sweed. Sammie Coates. Wheaton.
Alright I'm done being annoying.
He's clearly on his way to WR1 status, WR2 at worse depending on his crisp his routes become.

Re: Chase "MAPLETRON" Claypool
Nicknames based on other players nicknames are the worst. This isn't as bad as when somebody started calling Laquon Treadwell "Megaquon," which is one of the worst things I've ever read, but it's still bad.
The Steelers have drafted good WRs but they're not unimpeachable, as Space Cowboy already illustrated. You can probably already add James Washington to the Sweed/Coates/Wheaton list.
He's a physical specimen, to be sure. The obvious comp would be "Martavis Bryant, but not a complete shithead." I suspect he'll be more useful for the Steelers because of what he'll do to opposing defenses than he will be to fantasy gamers, but it's possible he threads the needle and has a Demaryius Thomas career.

The thread and player feels eerily similar to when Martavis Bryant was a rookie, even down to the low usage and big plays. Similar player and coincidentally, same team.

If I can buy in for relatively cheap I would. He's checking a lotta boxes for me already

However, that’s a pathetic nickname.
