He should fit through those lack of holes the O-line doesn't open up a lot better?

Lewis: HEIGHT 5'8" WEIGHT 195 lbs

Joke aside they already have a lighter version of Freeman. What's the point of signing Freeman here?

Depth? I doubt they want to run out there with only Lewis and a guy that was a healthy scratch last week. It's possible they got him on a cheap 1 year deal, despite what he's been holding out for.

SteveMaddensShoes wrote: Tue Sep 22, 2020 11:22 am Nah. CEH is 1.05 in startups and proving it. Brown is a late 1st and his should be a late 1st in a suspect draft class. Other owner cant win without another rb. Lazard has worked his way into a late 2nd round pick, imo. Adams is dinged up.

CEH has 3 years of production before he gets to Barkleys age next year. Why would i give up CEH for only a late 1st on top of Barkley? If the other dude can win a ship id say it is definitely worth it. Does t mean he SHOULD do it. Just think its a fair cost for someone in a bind. Should someone overpay for a qb in a SF if they lose a stsrter but have every other piece ? Same principle.

There is a vast difference between Cook and CEH as a side note.
Nah it was a ridiculous offer.
Your analysis is in depth and hard to disprove.

You dont own CEH do you? You are selling him plus a late 1st for Barkley today?
Steve did you just use my lowball offer to prop up your own!? Savagery  You have no shame.

Saquon in the 6-10 startup range now and what hasn't been mentioned is that his insulation is nearly gone. Another semi-serious injury in '21 (knock on wood) and he's dropping multiple rounds

Also, SB, Hollywood, 1st is the same as 4 1sts (early, early, mid, late) so yes that's a ridiculous offer.

Wonder what’s the view on Barkley vs. Chubb? Is he in reality the the line now? Honestly as a Chubb owner in a league of mine I am in doubt.

In the right situation yes. It's about a 50/50 toss up on if people will take that.

I’m not. Large gap in perceived value, very little tangible upside. Why trade something on its way up ⬆️ for something that has been leveling off? From this moment in time to the end of next year CEH will have (likely) played 30 games to Barkley’s 16 barring any further injuries. Unless you think Barkley is going to outperform CEH by over 5-8 PPG consistently over that time (or over the next 3-5 years including this one) there’s no reason to believe this is beneficial for CEH owners.

So adding that 1st isn't so crazy.

But in all honesty it's just a bad time to sell him. Most teams, unless they are serious rebuilders, want to see how the season shakes out before they buy Barkley with a stud starter. You have a hell of a team if you can trade away a top 12 overall player and not hurt your chances of making playoffs. If this was week 8 I think you get more of those accepted.

I know, I get it. It's a weird spot. i meant if you were a contender in week 8 you might make the deal if you needed a RB and there would be more teams willing to accept the trade offers you made.
