I think there is still a bit of shock and denial Barkley owners are processing. The first week will be many of them trying to convince themselves they can cope without him. Ultimately they will have to decide are they packing it in for the year, or competing. Depending on which way they are leaning you may eventually be able to get Barkley for cheap, or other players on their roster for cheap.SteveMaddensShoes wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 10:05 am Sent my lowball and got rejected. Nah. CEH is 1.05 in startups and proving it. Brown is a late 1st and his should be a late 1st in a suspect draft class. Other owner cant win without another rb. Lazard has worked his way into a late 2nd round pick, imo. Adams is dinged up.bjd5211 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 10:20 amIt's still a ridiculous offer, possibly even worse than yours was.The Godwin Complex wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 10:15 amI think there is still a bit of shock and denial Barkley owners are processing. CEH has 3 years of production before he gets to Barkleys age next year. Why would i give up CEH for only a late 1st on top of Barkley? If the other dude can win a ship id say it is definitely worth it. Does t mean he SHOULD do it. Just think its a fair cost for someone in a bind. Should someone overpay for a qb in a SF if they lose a stsrter but have every other piece ? Same principle.
There is a vast difference between Cook and CEH as a side note.

I think some may disagree on Hollywood's and Lazard's value. Your offer wasn't awful, but there's no way the gap between Barkley and CEH is a 1st and Hollywood. (Lazard is a throw in). A competing team would probably consider it as a starting point if they needed RB production.SteveMaddensShoes wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 11:22 amNah. CEH is 1.05 in startups and proving it. Re: What is Saquons value like now?
A week ago it would have been silly. But its not like things are the same now. Barkley will be 24 next year. And in theory you should sell at 25ish. So he is gonna give 2 more years of elite production. He is starting to get a slight injury prone tag. Not that i believe in it but for resale its a problem.fruity pebbles wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 11:27 amWait. Pre-injury, Barkley would have cost you CEH and two 1sts.SteveMaddensShoes wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 11:43 amYour analysis is in depth and hard to disprove.bjd5211 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 11:35 amNah it was a ridiculous offer.SteveMaddensShoes wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 11:22 am Nah. CEH is 1.05 in startups and proving it. Brown is a late 1st and his should be a late 1st in a suspect draft class. Other owner cant win without another rb. Lazard has worked his way into a late 2nd round pick, imo. Adams is dinged up.
You dont own CEH do you? You are selling him plus a late 1st for Barkley today?

I have 3 shares, and rank him as a top 5 RB.SteveMaddensShoes wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 11:43 amYour analysis is in depth and hard to disprove.bjd5211 wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 11:35 amNah it was a ridiculous offer.SteveMaddensShoes wrote: ↑Tue Sep 22, 2020 11:22 am Nah. You couldnt have got that price for Barkley pre and you probably couldnt swap now unless CEH owner is in a big rebuild. But even them i wouldnt swap due to age. CEH is 1.05 adp overall.
Did no one see me saying its a lowball offer? Lowball offers are normally off by a 1st or so. Im off by a late 1st. Lets not all lose our minds.

Barkley: HEIGHT 5'11" WEIGHT 233 lbs
Freeman: HEIGHT 5'8" WEIGHT 206 lbs
He should fit through those lack of holes the O-line doesn't open up a lot better?
Lewis: HEIGHT 5'8" WEIGHT 195 lbs
Joke aside they already have a lighter version of Freeman. What's the point of signing Freeman here?
