Contending team in one of my leagues lost Tyrod earlier, then Dak in week 5.

I'm rebuilding, and I spotted this and approached him offering Big Ben for a conditional late 2nd (if not last 3 in the round, would revert to 2 3rds, 1 mid to late in 2021 and one in 2022).

He countered asking to give what will likely be an early 2021 3rd (not his) and I accepted.

Deal was:

Give: Roethlisberger
Get: early to mid 2021 3rd.

Easy deal, no haggling or arguing, just the kind I like.

Lock had several dropped deep passes, and 3 TD dimes dropped last week. You sold low, especially in a 2QB 16 team league.

Gave: Hopkins + Royce Freeman
Got: Miles Sanders + Higgins + Mid 2021 2nd + 4th

Even though I’m highest in scoring, I feel confident because I’ve done it basically without MT + Barkley + Godwin. My rooks have come together and I secured another good option at RB while getting significantly younger which is always my goal. For context, to start the year this owner wanted MY 2nd + Hopkins for Sanders due to youth. Just goes to show what strong performances from vets will do to values mid season.
I'm presuming Tee Higgins, but seeing e tough interest in Rashard Higgins to be uncertain.

Good deal in most scoring settings. Sanders has been very impressive given how bad that PHI offense has looked this year + the strong competition he's been up against. Higgins looks like a future starter and the 2nd and 4th are gravy.

Yup I should have clarified it was in fact Tee Higgins.

Also just did the following

Sent: Lindsay
Received: Mims

Could be risky if gordon is suspended but since I got sanders, Lindsay was expendable and Mims is coming back soon. I mostly did this for next year when Gase is gone.

Agreed. Maybe it works out by a 1st in 2022 for a starting QB is light in 16 team 2QB

Might be an overpay, but:

I gave: Carson, 2021 2nd (early, not mine)
I got: Claypool, 2021 3rd

Not me and a bit envious/annoyed that I didn't try such a deal.

Give: Gallup, 20211st, 4th, 5th round
Get: CEH
