Starting Rookies - Who Do You Like Week One?

What rookies are you starting week one?

I assume everyone is starting CEH with how high he's being drafted and that KC offense.
Anyone starting Burrow out of the gate? Maybe in Superflex.
Are you starting JT, confident he's the man week one or waiting?
Sounds like Jeudy is the WR2 (or 1B) across from Sutton, and I own a share—debating starting him week one as my WR3-4.
Lamb is also building a relationship with Dak, but owning one share, I'm going to watch a few weeks first.
Not starting any of Ruggs, Reagor (hurt), Jefferson or any other WRs yet.
Not starting ANY TE, probably won't all year.

SO...who are you rolling out?

I'm starting James Robinson because I literally have no one else.

I'd comfortably start CEH if I had him. I'd start Burrow if I needed in a SF. I'd start Taylor or Dobbins on my team obv but I'd be comfortable starting either as a flex on most teams.

Of the guys I own...
JT- currently in my RB2 spot but I may go Chris Thompson in full ppr. Have it rough with RB on team 1

Dobbins- on the bench firmly behind CMC, Jacobs at RB and Hunt and Cohen in the flex for team 2

Jeudy- team 1, he's close to starting but still behind Brown and Cooks for now

Ruggs is close for team 2 but I'm rolling with Diontae at flex. Have Reagor here as well, and he would be behind Ruggs if he was healthy

Mims, Dillon- not a chance

Toying with starting Gibson. I only need to start 1 RB with our flex options, and Hunt caught BAL week 1 and I want to see how BUF uses Moss. Those are the 2 I’d start Gibson over. My other options would be Ozigbo, B Scott and McCoy.

In one of my big lineup leagues, I am thinking of putting in Jeudy over Jordan Howard RB as my WR5, behind Tyreek, Golladay, Allen, and Miller CHI WR.

Only guys I would be confident starting week 1 would be CEH. No one else has run away with a significant and dependable role in camp other than Burrows, but with Cinci being the crap hole it is, no way I am making Burrows my starter unless im desperate

Could see Burrow being a good option for a lot of people in SF. Depending on how many WR are required I could see Jeudy and Ruggs being viable.

I agree CEH is the only RB I have faith in week 1

That's how I feel. I think the next 2 rookies after those guys would be flex plays in Jeudy and Gibson in full PPR. Those are the only other 2 rookies I feel confident will get enough snaps and work in week 1 to justify starting. Maybe you could throw Edwards/Ruggs in there but I just don't feel confident on who is going to get the work yet. Pittman possibly since he is playing Jax.

Not sure what the breakdown will look like for Taylor, Dobbins, Akers, and Moss. Swift has been banged up and Lamb still looks like the 4th option on that offense at best right now after Cooper, Gallup, and Zeke. The rest are injured, down on the depth chart, or we really weren't expecting to start them week 1 anyway.

Even with Taylor in a timeshare with Mack, I think he's a must-start against Jacksonville's depleted defense. It's a juicy matchup.

I am starting JT for sure. He has too much of an opportunity to excel, even if he splits carries. All others I am waiting until they prove what their role will be (Edwards, Dobbins). I'll probably start Hurts once he takes over for Wentz.

I'm in a 32 team league that has 12 man rosters and basically forces you to start everyone you have, so I'm starting all rookies there.

In all others leagues I got CEH, and I have to choose between Burrow and Derek Carr. I might go with Burrow because of the potential upside.

As everyone is saying CEH for sure. In my RB2 spot on my friends and family team that I run??? I'm starting Akers and am not very fearful of the outcome. And there's a reason Washington let AP go--his name is Antonio Gibson--if I had him I wouldn't be fearful of starting him--

I'm doing the same in a redraft league - he's my RB2. I forsee a big lead in the 2nd half if this Colts team is half as good as I think they are (and if JAX are half as bad).

I wouldn't really hesitate to start Edwards or Ruggs.

I’m. not a Taylor owner, but if you’re not starting him this week then I don’t know when you would. IND ought to have a comfortable lead in the game, which in turn would make me think the coaches are going to let him eat at a minimum for the balance of the second half. JAX looks dedicated to tanking this season.
