I’m not sure this will turn out as well as some Fournette owners may be projecting. Fournette is still a mediocre RB who gets what is blocked for him and not much more. He plays a lot smaller than his size. And he is one of the worst pass protection RBs in the NFL.

What he isn’t now is the focal point of the offense - which was the only reason he had value up until now.

I really wanted his value to tank, but this was the best possible outcome for him.

I figured Philly would have been ideal for you to ensure you had a bigger portion of the RBBC. Now you only have the small portion that will be Sanders

Shady is still the best back on the field in Tampa, since he has been regularly getting work with the 1's a cut would be baffling. I cant imagine if they had any faith in Vaughn or Rojo they would pay up for Fournette. You don't get a guy with public baggage like this on your team if you feel good about your RB's. Both short and long term, coach speak sound bites aside its bad for everyone in that RB room fantasy wise, Fournette included.

Yet they were only willing to pay shady $1 mil, and fournette was brought in fir more than twice that amount. Why would they bring Gournette in if shady was so awesome?

It looks like they will keep Shady, but as far as fantasy goes Shady is DONE. Shady can still be a solid player for a nfl team but not for a fantasy team. That backfield is way to crowded now. Prolly best case for LF owners would be for Bucs to resign him next year and let Shady and Rojo go and just go with LF and Vaughn.

Oh yeah don't confuse Shady being the most talented to him being fantasy relevant. Its more a knock on how mediocre that RB room is than a vote of confidence for the aging vets relevance to fantasy. Personally I would run screaming from any shares of the TB running attack.

What, you don't want to sift through the Patriots South RB salad? How not die hard of you! :P

Should be plenty of weeks where those guys blow up though, so totally worth chasing somebody, anybody in that backfield, right?

This torpedoed both teams backfields, hoping to cash out on Armstead for anything worth while.
No way I want a part of those cesspools.
In JAX I'd give the edge to Armstead, but have no faith in the team to be productive at all.
In Tampa I would give the slight edge to rojo for the time being but he can easily play himself out of a starting job, or Fournette could bump him just as easily. Never liked Vaughn, he went 1.10 in my league before: Ruggs, Higgins, Aiyuk, Pittman.

Fournette is going to ball out, best RB Brady has ever played with.

Feel like I’m taking crazy pills with every podcast saying this is not good for Fournette.

Disagree, and I was a Fournette 1.01 guy. Brady is also really old. Honest question, do you have him on a team?

Multiple, scored 16+ points per game last year. Was an Uber prospect coming out and was on a terrible team the last 3 years. He is going to be good on that offense. Rojo isn’t even a speed bump.

Curious who you think is better Fournette or Mixon?
Fournette had 200 more yards with .5 more yards per touch last year.

Fournette runs away with this job, McCoy will be injured in and out of the lineup all year and Rojo will get them both Gatorade.

I think TB will not be as good as most think, to be honest. I have two top WR's, too. I don't like Fournette or Mixon, I think they are both over rated, but in the context of FF, I'd lean Mixon, because of his pass catching, and the fact he's not going into a new team a week before the season. I don't think Fournette is a RB1 this year, unless he's the talent I thought he was 4 years ago, and I have not seen that since that point.
